When you need to cut your blackened Amberjack with a knife and it's like cutting shoe leather, you know your fish is overcooked. I have nothing positive to say about our experience here.

Rick's is one of our favs. This isn't a fancy place but the food and the staff are top shelf! Check out their HappY Hour oysters. They are priced below everyone else's and are always fresh and usually from Appalacacola.

We read this on Yelp and decided to try it. It didn't disappoint as we arrived around 6:30 pm where they have a HH menu until 7 pm. $9 for a dozen of raw oysters, how do you beat that? They were yummy! Then we ordered the steamer for 2 where there were mussels, clams, shrimps, crab legs, corns, broccoli... More

I was expecting snow crab, but never asked much questions. Prices were average for seafood in the area. Not very crowded but locals liked the food as well.

We were visiting family in the area, and wanted raw oysters. They were fabulous! I got grouper nuggets and my husband got the seafood platter, raw oysters and seafood gumbo. The food was delicious! Our server was the beat we've had so far this week! CJ made sure our drinks were full and was there in a flash to get... More

On our way back from a day trip towards Pensacola and Navarre Beach we were heading back towards Destin in search of the best Oysters. Trip advisor brought us to Rick's. Our server was Tara - never once was my tea glass empty! We had 2 dozen raw oysters and the steam bucket. We also had the crab cakes. Most... More

Went for lunch today. My wife ordered the the two-item deal ( two mains + two sides for $11.) I got the special of the day (fried mullet basket. My wife's fried oysters and grilled amberjack were very good. Mullet was also good. French fries and onion rings were average, hush puppies and coleslaw were very good. There was no... More

Decided to try this place one night having found a coupon for it and while we left full, we probably won't be going back. The food is decent but there are better options.

From the outside the place does not look like much of anything. We went with a local person who knows the area and has been there before. Inside there were choices of being in the sports bar with various TVs going with NFL games or a more quiet area without TV. The food was well prepared, generous and tasty. Our... More
