I usually do barbecue at Sonnys when I am in Florida, but this time my wife, daughter and granddaughter decided to try this rib house. We were not disappointed. I had the small rib plate for under $8 and it was filling enough with the side of slaw. Ribs fell off the bone a melted in mid-chew! Sharon had the turkey and was pleased as punch. Granddaughter Mariel was hungry and went for the pulled pork, cornbread and baked beans. She took home half of it and noted this rib house was her favorite. My daughter had a large salad and pronounced it famous and filling. Barbecue meals can be expensive but Adam’s Rib was fairly priced and had a large menu for any taste. The variety of barbecue sauces easily surpasses 100 different plastic bottle lined along a counter and features untold combination of fiery hot, sweet to mild and many more interesting combinations.

Took the family after a long day of driving and sight seeing. We were all excited for BBQ except one who decided not to order. The rest of us we thrilled with our meals, the serving size was perfect for a 17 YO son who never stops eating and too much for my wife. We had the Moochele's special which included brisket and two sides along with garlic toast or corn bread. There was a lot of brisket. I always try the brisket with the sauce and it was exceptional, enough smoke to taste good but not overpower. I thought their sweet sauce was delicious. By the end of the meal the lone hold out who didn't want to order was eating our leftover brisket and fries. That should say enough.

Great Ribs, pork little dry, chopped chicken was good. Everything in to go boxes not sure if that’s due to covid. Small restaurant our group had to be split in about 7 tables. Wanted to try firecracker shrimp but they were out got fried pickles they were good what is expected no onion ring dipping sauce which was disappointing. Sweet tea was perfect! Service was good.

We ordered Chicken Sandwich plate and Pork Sandwich plate. When my chicken sandwich plate came, it only had one piece of garlic bread. I asked why I did not have two because of my sandwich. the black waitress said 'oh you wanted 2?' I said yes I ordered the chicken sandwich. My husband said you can have one of mine. I did not know she had put down a chicken dinner plate until I went to pay (it cost more). When I mentioned that was not what I ordered, the waitress said, 'You ate the plate of food and I have to charge you'. We checked out at 1:47:01PM, Sequence # 0000115, ID# 0772834. The meal was good, but we will probably not be back. The waitress knew I ordered a chicken sandwich at the table and failed to credit me. Neither did she come back to the table to check on us to see if we wanted more water. We are a elderly retired couple. Joye Woodall

We made a special stop because the restaurant came highly recommended especially for the ribs. We went for the BBQ to go menu and ordered a full slab of pork ribs, half pound of chopped pork, half pound of beef brisket and the lunch special that comes with 2 ribs, a side and a toast. The good: huge portion, reasonably priced, great value for the specials, and friendly services. The food: the chopped pork and the chopped brisket were average, nothing to write home about. The chopped pork was dry and and both meat would probably be better if ordered as sandwiches and dressed with BBQ sauce. There was no option to order the meat in slices. The ribs were prepared with a dry rub, and served with a selection of BBQ sauces. The meat was not fall off the bone kind and was not tough either though on the dry side. Overall , the ribs were ok. This is a very popular restaurant in Gainesville, the food was ok and average.

While I personally prefer baby back ribs, these ribs were actually very good. I'd heard the ribs were very tasty, and the food did not disappoint. Can't say they're my favorite ribs, but again, that's just because I prefer baby backs to regular ribs. The flavoring on them was quite good.

We had dinner delivered to the hotel from Adam’s Ribs. It was meaty ribs, potato salad and greens with cornbread. One of us ordered the lunch box hamburger and they raved about it. You will be full from dinner, but don’t miss dessert. Banana pudding and peach cobbler....the peaches were fresh. The food here is great, but the desserts are WOW. Don’t miss this place!

The food was so good the first time, I had to good back again. The first time I got the 4 rib plate with side of potato salad and baked beans. Both sides were obviously made from scratch on the premises. The ribs were extremely meaty and flavorful. No sauce is required. It was probably more food than I should have ate, but I forced myself. The second time I got the chicken dinner and had the mac and cheese and collards as my sides. I also ordered black eyed peas and cornbread. Again, everything was excellent. The chicken was tasty and moist. All the sides were better than expect. I will definitely go a few more times when I come back to finish my condo rehab.

Ordered Local BBQ (again!!) for our Client meeting to share the flavor of our town with visitors. Love the family recipes and the variety of menu. It would be easy to eat breakfast, lunch AND Dinner with these choices, but my favorite is anything chopped on garlic bread with mac-n-cheese. yummy!! Thanks Adam and Moo!!

Their ribs are incredible and after falling in love with their flavor, I’ve been on a quest to find better ribs elsewhere. In all my searching so far, I haven’t been able to find better ribs anywhere else that have the same great flavor on Adam’s ribs - even when traveling around the state. They’ve always been cooked just right and his seasoning is incredible. I’ve never been disappointed and as I’ll continue to say, I highly recommend their ribs. They have 3 locations around town so you can easily reach one of their locations when in Gainesville and you need to try this bbq restaurant.

You get your money's worth here. Good food in ample portions. There is one table inside and a couple small ones outside so mostly takeout. Recommended.

I ordered the beef brisket platter. The brisket was tough and very hard to chew and the green beans just came out of a can. The potato salad was very good.
