Great spot for creative Latin/Caribbean/South American style foods with a number of vegetarian options. Excellent service. Good atmosphere, though slightly loud when crowded.

Perhaps the best latin food I have tried so far. Went twice for lunch and dinner and all dishes were neatly prepared and delicious. Price is much cheaper for lunch but they offered to make lunch menus if I requested. Nice servers. My favorite was Pinõn and Ropa Vieja (pulled pork with rice).
I went to the Downtown Art Festival with a friend who highly recommended Emiliano's. Their Saturday brunch was still going on, and I was tempted to order the crab cakes Benedict off the brunch menu. But I went with the Portobello sandwich off the lunch menu and had no regrets. My friend went with a Cuban-style dish off the lunch... More
I've been to Emiliano's about 8 times over the past few months and am impressed with the consistently excellent, freshly prepared dishes. Went with wife for brunch and she got a special of rope tostadas and I got a cuban benedict. Both were so good I ate all of mine and some of my wife's and hadn't been that full for a while. Great meal and we had a great time with good weather which never hurts either.
Good, reliable, consistent. Good service, nice live music occasionally. Overall, it's one of my favorite spots in GNV. The food is also child friendly!
Emiliano's seems to change radically every few years, both the décor and the menu. The menu items are not consistently good, but the fish dishes are almost always wonderful. Nice pre hurricane breeze, so we sat outside. Service was great and food was delicious. Price was reasonable and went home with plenty of left overs.
Got the crab stuffed avocado dish. Absolutely wonderful. Everything always is when we dine here. Mimosas and Bloody Mary's are delicious as well.
I am very picky with Hispanic food especially fast foods like Chipotle, Taco bells, Moes and such which are all horrible I don't eat there Those are all peasant food places from poor countries. However and good Hispanic restaurant cannot be beat. It's all home made and Emiliano's in Gainesville has real food. You will not find tacos, burritos then... More
