We were attending an event in Gainesville so we stopped in for New Orleans cuisine and we weren't disappointed. Good food and atmosphere as always.

We ate a lunch outside at Harry’s. The service was warm, engaging, casual and friendly. The menu is varied with a mixture of seafood and other options. The food was adequate, good portion sizes and well prepared but nothing out of the ordinary. We’d stop...More

We arrived for lunch just after the homecoming parade, so people were lined up out the door. Staff worked quickly to prepare for the large group in front of us and we were promptly greeted and seated in a bright window booth, great so far....More

Restaurant feels like a large family or neighborhood place. Pretty simple decor, tasty food. All fried items are great, loved fried oysters and calamari. Shrimp very fresh with spicy sauce and grits. The absolute best is the irresistible dessert of Oreo beignets, rich and warm...More

Loved the food! Always have been a fan since going to one in St. Augustine. If you like seafood with a Cajun twist - this place is for you!

Used tonne THE place. Not sure what happened . Cold food that tastes even worse. Stayed across the street so we tried it a few times and the only thing they were consistent about that it was bad each time

There was confusion about which waitress was serving us and hence service was delayed. However, the waitress was very apologetic as was the service manager. We were offered an appetizer for free. The voodoo shrimp, the jambalaya and the crawfish etouffee were so tasty! The...More

Located right in the heart of young and vibrant Gainesville, this is a large, well-run, busy and very fun restaurant. It is not fine dining but doesn't pretend to be; it's also many steps above chain-restaurant with their portion-controlled frozen foods. The cooking is cajun-style,...More

I haven't had a bad experience there. The food is good service can be a little slow at times but other than that good. Their She Crab soup is YUMMY along with their Chicken Jolie.

The restaurant is listed as a seafood restaurant but the atmosphere takes you to Paris France or the Martinique Restaurant at Atlantis in the Bahamas. The food and atmosphere were great and the service was fast.

It is mostly seafood and a number of rice and veggie sides. Things aren't labeled gluten free, but just take a look at the menu. Mahi Mahi with rice and vegetables would be one example. Blackened red fish. Voodoo Shrimp... More

Thank you for visiting Harry's Seafood Bar & Grille! A distinctively different menu, the food of Harry's Seafood Bar and Grille captures the essence of a city not only known worldwide as the birthplace of Jazz but also the birthplace of a unique style of cooking. We've taken the best of Cajun, Creole and Southern flavors infused with a current day twist to create some of our most popular dishes like Shrimp and Scallop Orleans, Grilled Chicken Baton Rouge, Crab Crusted Blackened Red Fish, Bourbon Street Salmon and French Quarter Beef Tenderloin to name a few.
