Sonny's steak hogies are probably the best we've had! If you're impressed by Guy Fierri from "Diners, Drive Ins and Dives" he has recommended Sonny's. Although it's a tiny place in a strip plaza with not much parking, people line up to get in. There's not much seating and it's cash only but customers are only happy to wait. The... More

My favorite ... Cheese steak with provolone cheese, and fried onions. Sonny's packs in the steak, so you will enjoy a great sandwich. The meatball sub is great as well. You have to go personally, to know what I'm talking about .... what are you waiting for ... go, go, go now!

Tiny hole in thewall that hasnt changed in years, cash only and so worth it! Just see for your self how the parking lot fills up at lunch time. Have eaten here a few times with a child or senior and all have enjoyed it.

My family are big fans of Jim's Cheesesteaks in Philly. After seeing Sonny's on Diner's Drive Ins and Dives years ago, we ventured down there. It's NOT on the main drag, but well worth the effort to get here. They make their own rolls here and they are fantastic. The steak sandwiches are just plain wonderful. Don't forget their home-made... If Sonny's didn't serve Philly Cheese Steaks than their Cheeseburger Hoagies would have people lining up. If they didn't do the CB Hoagies than their Gorgonzola Salad, or their Pizza or their Pasta would draw them in...You wanna know why? Because good food at a good price never goes out of style! Serving up Southern Italian American Deliciousness since 1958.

This place is AMAZING. I can't say enough. It's definitely a "hole in the wall" type of place, but everyone is awesome and food is made from scratch. Freshly baked bread, and the meatballs...OMG. Also it was like 6.99 for a huge sandwich!! Just awesome and I'm sad to live so far away...because I want another one!!

Great steak and cheese sandwiches with generous portions. Homemade pizza was also a bonus. But the overall favorite was the garlic bread. Chopped cloves of garlic on top of the loaf....amazing flavor!
