We order the Coconut Onion Rings, Shipwreck Chicken and Basket Mahi Mahi. They all taste great and very large portions. We also had a key lime pie.

I'm not a big fan of Mahi Mahi but I figured I'd try the blackened sandwich. It was very good/fresh. Topped off w/ a 23oz beer I was set. Prices are reasonable. Sorry I didn't make it back to try the burger.

The grilled shrimp was excellent as was the clam chowder my husband ate. Grab the coconut onion rings as an appetizer. Delish!

First time back in the keys in years, not my fave restaurant. Love the location and atmosphere. Service was ok, Batter on fried food was way too heavy. Had a very small plastic cup of bud light and it was $4. Atmosphere great, food/drinks not...More

This is now a "must" stop when we're in Key Largo, usually once or twice a year. We've been back to the Shipwreck several times over last couple of years. Food is excellent. Waterfront dining - inside and outside. Conch fritters and conch chowder are...More

6 of us ate here on a Thursday night and no one came home hungry! Blackened fish was cooked with heaps of flavor, can't go wrong if you want a small bar and grill experience!

Nice secluded location and filled with locals. Food was nice however the portions were a tad small for a average person. Would be an ideal place to go for a pint with friends and the staff were very friendly and helpful.

Went back to visit our "regular" place and found the chef has moved on. The parking lot was unusually quiet. While the food was still good, it was lacking in the flair and spice we had grown fond of. It was Friday so the fish...More

2 questions: ok to sit outside with small dog? Can we come for lunch in our kayak? Peter Dobson

Yes, dogs are allowed, in the tiki hut and the outside dining. You could come in a kayak, but I think getting in and out would be an adventure to say the least. Better off just driving there.

Yes children are allowed in the inside bar area which consists of the bar and four tables. We do not serve liquor and we are more of a restaurant than a bar. That being said, in the inside there are sometimes patrons that... More

Key Largo's Hidden Treasure! And the locals would like to keep it that way. Shipwrecks is located off the beaten path, on a deep water canal, on the ocean side. Come enjoy great food, good prices, and friendly staff in a relaxed atmosphere. Happy hour is everyday 4-6 pm when beer starts at $1. Seating is available inside, outside, or under the tiki. Locals, tourists, bikers, families, divers, and all other friendly people welcome!
