We enjoyed our lunch on the pier watching the tarpon feeding. Service was good and food was fresh. We started with the conch-amole, followed by ceviche and blackend fish sandwich. Everything was delicious!

We enjoyed our meal here...especially the crispy fried conch. There were 3 of us, one of which isn't really in to seafood, and she was pleased with what she ordered, too, so it's not just about good local seafood. They take care of you regardless....More

We have been here 3 times within two years and every time the service is absolutely horrible. The waiter/waitress is not concerned with their customers. The first time we went the waiter with a pony tail was so rude. If you asked for something he...More

Highly recommend - will most definitely return! Beer was cold, food was delicious and reasonably priced. Try the fish tacos with an Islamorada Ale you will NOT regret it!!!

Our server Tim did a great job considering all tables were being seated at once from a waiting lunch crowd during Memorial Day Weekend. He constantly checked on our needs and assisted with special requests. The menu is loaded with great options and our choices...More

Thai style is the way to go!! We light a fire and have citronella candles available to help keep most of the bugs in our outdoor venue away, but we always carry mosquito spray as back up as well. :)

If you like the casual waterfront experience, this place is great. Lots of action with the marina right next door, and the tarpon hang out under the dock so the tourists can feed them. You can pay for a bucket of fish($5?) or just pay...More

Description
In the Florida Keys you'll find this old Keys-style marina and fish shack "somewhere on A1A." A true conch atmosphere with many tasty delights, here in this Florida Keys restaurant you'll find yourself indulged in the Caribbean-inspired cuisine, the compassionate people and old Keys tranquility that is the Hungry Tarpon restaurant in Islamorada. The building has been standing since 1947 and with a home like Robbie's of Islamorada, plus a fascinating history, it all makes the Hungry Tarpon a part of the tradition since 1976. Enjoy dining on our bayside deck with tiki torches lighting up the night. Relax with friends over our fabulous appetizers and watch the boats come and go. Stroll our open air shops then wander to our sandy beach, melt into one of our bayside lounge chairs and let the sea air wash away the rush of the day.
