The food is not great but ok. The service is not good. The restaurant is very small seating inside, tables are too close together and seating outside is where US 1 is and it's noisy and dirty. I would recommend King's Seafood Restaurant over this one.

This is a local gem. Freshest seafood in Marathon. Do not let the look fool you. No frills; not a luxury eatery but the food is always great!

Exterior is unassuming but food is excellent! In addition to fantastic menu, there are daily specials which are delicious as well! They make unique dishes. Key lime pie is a great finish to an excellent meal. Seafood available for take out as well. A great inexpensive local restaurant!

A fish sandwich with the coleslaw in the sandwich and some more on the side and believe me you wont want to eat lunch anywhere else especially if you save room for desserts that are second to none

Bought fish/shrimp several times to take back to our rental house for dinner. It was good and fairly priced better than what we bought in "the place in Key West"! The kicker is that they have George's freshly baked bread which is over the top! They also have an excellent assortment of fresh meat and sausage as well as an... More

The food is anything but plain. The best is simple on preparation but rarely misses being excellent. Small DR and bar. DR has 6-8 tables, bar seats maybe 12 w/couple small tables there. We generally go for a midafternoon meal because usually packed at lunch more locals then tourist/snowbirds at that time of day. Tells you a great place. We... More

We use Fish Tails to process our fish and ship to our home every time we visit Marathon. The quality of the work and attention to detail is outstanding. Nice friendly owners that care about getting the job done right. Thanks to Jackie,George and John Eigner! I would highly recommend Fish Tails for great meals and fish processing services.

Maybe we hit it on a bad day? Seems like the white lobster bisque missed the mark...just not as good as it used to be. I ordered grilled cuban bread with my soup, it never came...guess the waiter forgot? Another server came by to see how things were...since I'd finished my soup already I asked her to remove the cuban... More

I don't like the idea of writing negative reviews of local businesses, and I have had less than favorable seafood from other places in town, so I won't mention them by name....but, each and every time I have purchased fillets from Fish Tales, from Mahi to Snapper, it has been fresh, firm, and delicious! Best in Marathon.

Thank mjned
