This was a gourmet restaurant but has been closed. We were there in 2013. Very wonderful food and service and very expensive. Would go again if it was still open.

Very nice place to learn about old Florida and underground railway. On the grounds they make their own soups and table Ware. The food is a little high price but you will be surprised to see how many famous people have eaten there.
I read recently that this site maybe closing. Well worth the visit either for a meal or an overnight stay. Food was excellent and rooms were quaint if nothing else. I it is true that it is closing I am sorry to see it go....More
This place was past its prime. It died and went to restaurant heaven...thank goodness. This is an excellent section of land, hopefully it will be developed thoughtfully by a commercial land firm.
This was a great dinning tradition in Lake Wales that is now closed! When they announced that they were closing , people came out in droves to eat one last meal ! It is a shame .
