My husband and I ate at the Mile 0 Diner a few times while staying in Midway. We found the food to be consistently good. We both had ribs which was the Saturday special. Also the meatloaf was "homemade" good. I don't recommend the quesadilla I think the cheese was forgotten but that can happen. Overall the servers were great,... More
Great little Homemade Diner. We ate their on October 5th & 6th. Our dinner meal on the 5th was fantastic (liver & onions) & fettuccine alfredo. Our waitress was pleasant & very efficient. Would definitely eat there again.
We were a group of 5 guys on a motorcycle trip and staying in Midway for a night. Stayed at the mile zero motel as well as eating here. Everything about the place far exceeded our expectations. Food was delicious, serving sizes were good, desserts were outstanding but by far the servers were what really but this place over the... More
We were camping on the August long weekend and had stopped here to eat and the food was excellent. All home cooked meals and quite the variety on the menu. They are open breakfast lunch and dinner. Great place to eat for all 3 as we did while we were staying in midway. Can't go wrong eating here.
Food is good I tried a quesadilla which was excellent and a mushroom burger which was also delicious. The only downfall was the they forgot my coke and kept saying "coming up with your coke" but I never did get it, and they seem to be working in slow motion, but good food. Worth the wait 😊
I am sorry to hear that you had slow service while in our restaurant. We try hard to cover shifts so people get served promptly and efficiently, but sometimes it just doesn't work,,,get busy after cover shift leaves, etc. I hope the next time you are in you have a better experience, and we will work on the efficiency a... I had the Ukrainian Plate. Absolutely awesome. Homemade perogies (and fried too!), homemade cabbage rolls filled with beef, fried farmers sausage, fried onions, and a few veggies for good measure. Absolutely delish.
Thank you for your wonderful review of our restaurant. We apprieciate all reviews we get and like to know about peoples experiences when visiting us. Our Ukranian Dinner is probably one of our most popular dishes on the menu, and keeps us busy keeping up with the perogies and cabbage rolls. Thanks for taking the time to post a review. More
We stayed the night at the Mile Zero Motel and were told by friends that the diner serves a great breakfast. They weren't wrong. . . but they forgot to mention the friendly staff!
I had dinner here because there was a lack of restaurants open on a Sunday night in this area. It's a typical roadside dinner. Nothing fancy here. The menu is all over the place. I tried the Ukrainian dinner. It came with perogies, sausage, cabbage rolls and a choice of soup or salad. I chose the oriental beef soup. Everything... More
I am sorry to hear that you weren't happy with your dinner at our diner. Our menu is all over the place, a huge variety, only because we do have a huge local following, so we try to give them a good variety to chose from, as, like you said, there aren't many restaurants to chose from. Far different from... More
