We drove up to Grates Cove on the Baccalieu Trail for the views (which are outstanding) and found this little restaurant/art studio run by a lovely couple. Their food is a blend of local Newfoundland Cuisine with a side of Cajun thrown in.

Having eaten in a number of Newfoundland eateries over the past two weeks we found this restaurant the most exciting. You do have to be prepared for fairly high prices but this is not your average place. I rarely put “excellent” in a review but...More

If you are ever in Grates Cove you must stop for lunch here. Its a rustic, earthy restaurant. The food is excellent! You must have the partridge berry tea.
