We drove up to Grates Cove on the Baccalieu Trail for the views (which are outstanding) and found this little restaurant/art studio run by a lovely couple. Their food is a blend of local Newfoundland Cuisine with a side of Cajun thrown in.

Join professional Artist Terrence Howell on a guided walk through one of the Grates Cove's trails lined with historic rock walls. (By reservation only.) Visit Grates Cove Studios where you can eat, explore and create in the beautiful, rugged coastal landscapes of Newfoundland's historic Grates Cove and the scenic Baccalieu Trail. Stay overnight in our B&B or vacation home that offers stunning views of icebergs, whales, and the Baccalieu Island Ecological Reserve.
