We've been going to John G's for over 20 years. In the past 2 years, it has gone downhill. Food and service are not what they used to be, unfortunately. If you are looking for a great place in Manalapan, I'd recommend continuing your search.

John G's has been a tradition where people lined the sidewalk waiting for a table when it anchored the old casino building on the Lake Worth pier and beach front. Long-time customers were upset when it was forced to leave during reconstruction of the casino....More

If you are not up for the buffé at the Eau this is a nice alternative. Competent waitress but not cheap. Unfortunately no waffles.

I am a West Palm Beach native and had fond memories of John G’s back when it was directly on the ocean. That changed this morning when I joined my parents (who live on the island) for breakfast with my 2 small children. My son...More

My last visit, it was there and we had to wait to be seated because of the masses. There was a large amount of construction in front so the parking was very limited but do not let it deter you from going to this yummy place.
