My wife and I recently had dinner here and found the staff to be fantastic. Special mention to Christian our server. We both ate the fish and chips which came served in a basket. It was a large portion and was very tasty. We must have hit happy hour because our wine was only $4 for a big pour which... More

My husband and I came for lunch on a Tuesday. Food was ok. I thought a little high for chowder - 9.00. But the real problem was the flies. We were sitting outside but I've never seen so many flies!!! One even drowned in my salad dressing. Our server apologized quiet a few times. We finally went inside but the... More

First time there and didn't know what to expect. We shared the Mahi sandwich and were very pleased. Service was great. The restaurant is now called Coppalas and they have a band from 1 to 5 on saturdays and sundays. We'll go back.

I was a little jaded by some of the unkind comments about food and service, but when some friends visited from out of town, we decided to try it out - REALLY glad we did. The place was empty (2:30 on voting day, Nov 8), but the bartender was as welcoming as could be. He was attentive and really knowledgeable... More

We originally wanted to try this restaurant because it is pet friendly on the patio, and I am so happy that we did. The food and the service were great! This restaurant is in a historic building that is oceanfront so it was the perfect setting for our first dinner in Melbourne Beach. We ate here multiple times during our... More

Another favorite of ours on Sunday afternoons near Sebastian. A bit of a drive by way of Wabasso, then up past the Inlet about six miles or so. Once you get there, however, you forget everything else and get lost in the music out on the deck. Went this past week and tried the fried haddock soft taco and the... More

Visited Sunday Oct 16, right after Hurricane Andrew visited Melbourne and the Beaches. Had the vest Shrimp tacos with Thai Chile, cabbage, red onion, green & red peppers. The Band, "Absolute Blue" kept us in a good mood, and our server, Ms. Tealia made our lunch very enjoyable. Highly recommend the SBI for a Sunday afternoon treat. Oh, and the... More

This is an ideal, low-key LOCAL spot to enjoy a drink on the outside deck overlooking the ocean. No hype, just a simple, easy Old Florida vibe. In a more natural area in the south-beaches that is blissfully Condo free. Romantic for those who seek simplicity, authenticity & a local feeling.

staying just up the road at Seashell Suites, and loved the outdoor patio or beach deck here. Very expansive and lovely view of the ocean. Nice spot.

Sat outside. Was too hot in May, and were too close to the band as it was too loud. They were busy and the service was lacking badly. Nachos were like they were from a fast food place or even less tasty. Burger was overcooked after being sent back twice. It was dry and like leather, obviously frozen. We asked... More
