Excellent food and great service. A very popular place in Coconut Grove-- if you like Indian food, do not miss it.

There is no point in trying any other Indian restaurant in Miami. All of the Indian families in Miami go here. The food is great. Service is quick and they have a remarkably well priced wine list. Only restaurant in Miami that I know of that has Gary Farrell Pinot Noir. The Butter Chicken, Chicken Tikka Masala, Lamb Tikka Masala,... More

I love spicy food and this restaurant did not disappoint. First time having Indian food and was very impressed with all the different tastes and levels of heat. Food was well presented and all tasted fresh. Restaurant has a nice ambiance and modern decor. Reservations are recommended as it is a very popular. Will be back.

This is an excellent restaurant with delicious food & beautiful decor. Some outside seating is available. We have been there several times and have always left enjoyed our dinner. It gets crowded so I recommend calling ahead to make reservations!

Ambiance is nice, and service is fast. On top of that, food was great. We ordered the spicy onion filled kulcha ($3.95), delicious, not too spicy. As main courses, the paneer makhani ($15,95) was a vegeterian delight, and the lamb kadhai ($17,95) was also delicious. Portions were big enough.

We had reservations and were seated promptly. The interior is lovely. The service was very good. It was my husband and myself. We generally get the same things at an Indian restaurant and everything was excellent. We ordered everything medium and it was just right for us. We had vegetable pakora, chicken korma, lamb vindaloo, peshawari naan. The location was... More

This place has an elaborate Indian Menu although the seating capacity is a bit limited. The food and presentation was good but the wine list was succinct. I found the prices slightly higher. Overall, a good place to have an Indian meal

Having lots of Indian friends and spending many a meal with them in other parts of the world, we were very skeptical that an Indian restaurant in Coconut Grove could be authentic. It was amazing! We tried four of the many dishes and found each one as good, if not better than we had eaten in the past. This is... More

We had a reservation and were 5 minutes late and had to wait another 25 min to be seated. Portions were a little small but very good. Food tasted fresh and the naan on our table was straight out of the oven, very well done.

Description
Our dining room dining room falls somewhere between red-velvet regal and Slum Dog casual, with white table linens, fresh roses and vinyl-coated menus. There's gentle, tinkling music, authentic if slightly wooze-inducing incense and, for better weather, a petite patio.

Our menu is centered mostly on the northern half of the country but includes fiery Goan specialties and henna-red vindaloo. Our knowledgeable, welcoming and sincere staff makes ordering easy for novices. Meals begin with a complimentary stack of crisp pappadom with thimbles of thick-cut onion chutney and a green-as-fresh-cut-grass coriander version for dipping. A side order of mixed chutneys yields store-bought but no less delicious sour mango pickle and sweet mango chutney.

Come visit our lovely, value-priced dreamy addition to Coconut Grove!
