We needed a quick place for dinner close to home, so why not David's? I think we've not been there since they moved from their long-time Lincoln Rd location. The place was empty when we arrived and it took some minutes for anyone to notice....More

Terrific service. Great Fung-ho attitude from the staff. The coffee is amazing, and the same can be said for their breakfast. The parking (free!!) is easy!! Can’t wait to go back!!

Stopped here as part of a culinary tour. The Cuban sandwich was very average. My wife really enjoyed the Cuban coffee. One real plus is that there is free parking in the parking lot next to the café.

I’ve been here many times for cortaditos & pastries. Their coffee is great & I love the desserts & pastelitos. I had chicken with yellow rice & vegetables, & some picadillo. Everyone enjoyed their food, but the service could be a lot better :-/

Very easy to find and excellent latino cuisine featuring Cuban sandwiches and great breakfasts. At dinner time we ordered full plates with meat, rice, tostones, and bread. Very informal and relaxed, while the staff can be accommodating to the customer’s needs. I recommend Cafecito for...More

We asked at the hotel for a real Cuban place, where Cubans go, the hotel recommended this cafe, and it was fantastic, full of Cubans, so real Cuban food, service was friendly and warm. Ropa vieja excellent!!!

Great place to have a real Cuban food, roupa Vieja is the best. Always I go there, I have a great meal, simple but original Cuban food. The service is also a plus of this place. Will comeback

Nearly a year after closing its Collins Avenue location, the iconic 40-year-old Cuban cafe alights on Alton Road, settling into a smaller SoBe space with blue-and-black tiled floors and its signature walk-up window where locals get their morning cafecito fix. The menu includes breakfast staples like fried eggs and bacon, plus classics like Cubano Sandwich and churrasco (grilled beef) that never grow old.
