Great location and a very nice view of the Miami River. Service was OK. Server just dropped off food and that’s about it. Fries were lukewarm but the grilled mahi strips were really good. Scallops were decent size but not flavorful at all.

When I asked my Miami hosts to show me what's left of the old Miami restaurants, they took me to Garcia's downtown on the Miami River. My experience was delightful, starting with the conch fritters and continuing through the perfectly seasoned grilled shrimp. The wine...More

See all those one-star reviews? LISTEN TO THEM! I, too saw them, but chose to believe the 4 and 5-star reviews. I don't know when they were at Garcia's, but it was certainly not in the same universe as my experience tonight. I am not...More

We ate here last month. We were in town the night before our cruise. I was disappointed. I did not expect fancy- and it was not. I did expect really good seafood- and it was not. I had grilled jumbo shrimp. They were slightly under...More

You have to know this place to visit, and if you do it's well worth it! We preferred sitting inside just because of the old-style decor with the furniture and the pictures/paintings all around, it was worth it; on the outside you get a certain...More

This restaurant is fantastic! The seafood does not get fresher than this! I highly recommend the blackened Mahi Mahi. Oh, and don't forget to order the Conch Fritters!

It would not be my choice for a large party. Generally you are sitting outside with a large permanent cover. Tables would work because they are picnic style wooden benches seating about 6 people each. Seagulls are not a... More
