LT was somewhere I visited twice on a business trip back in 2018 and so I wanted to take my wife for dinner on our last night in South Beach, except I couldn't wait for dinner so we went for lunch the day before. A quick lunch turned into a long lunch on the terrace which included a good chat with our wonderful server Jose. The Boucher burger is one not to miss and my wife thoroughly enjoyed her watermelon salad. The following night we dressed up and had a cocktail in the bar followed by dinner inside. This time our server was Enrique and he looked after us as well as Jose. Both were very attentive to my wife's gluten free needs as she is coeliac. Some gluten free salmon sushi roll followed by a perfectly cooked steak for me and a chopped vegetable salad for my wife. All enjoyed with a reasonably priced Napa red. On our last day we decided to return to LT for brunch and this time were served by the wonderful Barbara. She also went out of her way to look after my wife. Both of us enjoyed a selection of sushi rolls before heading inside to sit at the bar for a glass of wine before we left for the airport. We never felt rushed on any occasion and couldn't have been treated any better by our three wonderful servers. We even met one of the hotel's Canine Executive Officers Rosa.

We dined at LT Steak (Betsy Hotel) on Saturday night in balmy, 73-degree January weather. Sasha provided good service; the menu had beef and seafood selections and prices were in line with South Beach fine-dining restaurants. This is an established restaurant that knows what it's doing, and a safe bet for a good meal. NOTE: like most South Beach restaurants, the LT automatically adds a 20% service charge (gratuity) to your bill.

Enjoyed my recent visit to LT's with my daughter. We chose an outdoor table, but after a few minutes I really tired of people watching and listening to the loud music from crowded vehicles. Should have moved indoors, but nonetheless we had great food - her filet arrived quite rare rather than medium rare, but our waiter corrected that fairly quickly. My lobster salad was delicious, and perfect portion so as not to feel stuffed after dinner! Recommend indoor seating especially if you'd like to hear the musician performing in lounge.

We arrived early and very kindly they seated us. I received some freshly baked bread prior to our steak. We both had filet mignon one cooked medium and one rare. As expected with the quality of the restaurant they cooked to perfection. The wine list was vast but unfortunately we picked a cab sav (kith & kin) that was very disappointing. Had asparagus and baked potato with the steak. They weren’t anything special, although the steak was good. Service was fine, cost was very expensive for what you got, however there does seem to be a lack of quality steak restaurants within Miami Beach. Wouldn’t fair well in places that have a good variety of steak.

Had a fantastic lunch here on South Beach. The food and the ambience here are excellent it is a bit pricey but it has none of the craziness and jarring loud music that most places on South Beach tend to have. The sushi is especially good and the fries are as well. Try to snag a seat out on the deck to people watch without the blasting of music in your ears like most places on Ocean Drive do.

I have no problem spending money on a quality experience. For the most part the food was good but not excellent. We had the 8 oz filet mignon. Not the best I’ve ever had! They charge $10 for 1 plain baked potato which I think is outrageous for any restaurant!!! Our waiter was not attentive, never came over to ask if I wanted another glass of wine nor to ask how our food was. He took forever to bring our check over even after I had to get up and go request it from him. The restaurant was not crowded so there was no reason to take 20 minutes to get the check, pay and leave. They automatically add 20% gratuity to the guest check no matter how many people are in your party (we were only 2). That’s when I realized the waiter did not care about our dining experience because he was getting a big tip no matter what. $28.80 for doing a bad job in my opinion. I am trying to be kind here but I just feel like I wasted good money here.

My review is in appreciation of our server last night, Gabriella! She was the best! It was very clear the restaurant/bar was understaffed and she was juggling it all beautifully. We were disappointed when we tried ordering sushi to be told there was no sushi available followed by ordering the Wagyu and that was sold out. Gabriella was kind and helpful and made a potentially mediocre experience 5-stars.

We sat in the bar and it was so loud from the piano that it was we could not hear the waitress or each other. The food was average at best. My steak was overcooked but I could not get the waitress attention and the flavor was bland. Waitress was nice but had too many tables.

I had breakfast, lunch, dinner at LT Steak & Seafood and I can honestly say it is one of my favourite restaurants in South Beach. I am not a huge party person so I can really appreciate the classy vibe of the restaurant (and hotel), especially compared to some of the other establishments along the strip. The food and service are both top-notch. Our favourite dishes include the Soy Wasabi Ahi Tuna Tartare, the Chermoula Salmon and the Boucher Burger (with onion rings and black pepper bacon!) – make sure you upgrade your fries to parmesan truffle fries! Oh and make sure you try their popovers – their complimentary bread – it is a fluffy airy buttery heavenly bread that will change your world. The atmosphere is great indoor or outside. Inside, you get to enjoy the live jazz or classical music being played in the lobby in the evenings. Outside, you get to people watch Ocean Drive (they also play the music outside too so you are not missing out). As a side, we also tried their picnic basket – a perfect takeaway menu for a day at the beach or park. It was super cute and romantic.

After having visited two other restaurants on Ocean Drive, my wife and I decided to test if the most expensive breakfast wasreally the best. We ordered the $26 Betsy Breakfast and it was really wirththe money. As a waiter remarked, the Betsy is also 2 blocks away from the craziness of Ocean Drive. A nice quiet place to sit. The service, of course, is impeccable.

We visited LT for Saturday brunch. We had superb service and wonderful food. LT's burger is spectacular. Our server helpfully offered to have it cut in half by the kitchen before serving. We are glad he did. LT's sushi was the freshest and beautifully presented. We enjoyed our brunch so much we cancelled the next night's dinner plans elsewhere to return to LT. Again, the service and food were superb. The atmosphere wonderful. Our server, Michael was fantastic! LT is a gem and we will return again the next time we are in Miami.

I am shaking in disbelief typing this message. This morning was an amazing car that took place right in front of The Betsy and of course, the hotel has a beautiful terrace that you can sit on and enjoy. "Lucky" for me, I had reservations already made at LT Steak and Seafood for breakfast as I previously had reservations before and I ENJOYED my dish. For some reason today was different. I was discriminated because of my skin color. I walked up to the hostess stand and ask to be seated as I had a reservation. The sever Rene was COMPLETELY disrespectful, didn't even look me in my eye, denied my reservation saying they were completely booked and no seating. May I add that there was literally THREE people sitting having breakfast. I kept showing Rene the reservation insisting that I get seated, he told me that I cannot sit anywhere and "don't know anything". What put the icing on the cake was him walking over to the front desk telling them "Call the security, this guy over here looks suspicious." I was blown, I had to take a look at my self for a second. What am I doing or wearing that can possibly be alarming... my skin color? Its the fact that I had to show them a picture of my self from my previous visit to the hotel eating to prove that I've been here before. Why do I need to show proof that I've eaten here before just to eat again..? Why does it matter? I asked another gentlemen if its okay that I sit in the lobby area and he seemed so confused on why I asked and ensured me that I can indeed sit where I please. I get to order drinks, pay for it in advance show them that I actually paid for my drinks after being asked multiple times. Lastly, they severed my breakfast in togo boxes... while everyone else (I was the only African American dining for breakfast) was severed properly. They finally bought out silverware for me to eat, while on the couch. Paid in cash and left. This was a very sensitive experience to me, very triggering as well. Will be bringing this experience to every social media platform. Please choose wisely when picking employees because they are the ones who provide the experience for your hotel.

The food and service was outstanding. The classical atmosphere is much different than the traditional south beach vibe which makes for a very relaxing experience. Michael was our waiter and was just spectacular. He was very professional, knowledgeable, attentive and friendly. We enjoyed the food and service so much that we decided to go back for a second night to try the other menu items and had both Michael and Miguel taking care of us. I highly recommend you ask for both of these gentlemen as they made us feel so welcomed and like celebrities. We typically go to Miami 2x a year and plan to visit this restaurant each time going forward. The sushi rolls and burger are must haves.

I sort of hate to leave a bad review because it started out well. I had breakfast, and it was so-so food (egg white omelet, bland and sort of weird in that ingredients stacked rather than spread, as in the kale was to the left, the tomatoes in the middle, and the avocado and feta to the right…make you wonder how you’re suppose to eat to get all of the ingredients? It was accompanied by an overly sour dressing salad, inedible really. The kicker is that what I wanted to order (and the reason that I went to the restaurant after reading the menu outside) was actually a rather interesting sounding eggs Benedict presented in a popover. Since I had, however, arrived at 10:20 and brunch started at 11, I was told that I couldn’t order that and the so so omelet sounded ok. I had decided, however, to order the eggs Benedict for a late lunch, since the brunch was 11-4. I called and made a to go order, making the call at 3:35 or so. The gentleman who picked up the phone actually checked with someone (?his manager) if it was ok to do the order, evidently got the ok, and I made the order. However, when I went to pick it up after a 15 -20 minute walk, there was some murmuring from the hosts then I was told the meal wasn’t prepared and now couldn’t be, because “brunch was over.” I politely reminded them that I had actually made the aver 20 minutes before brunch was over, leading to more murmuring then one of them went back to check in the kitchen and came out saying that the ONLY person who knew how to make this was gone for the day. No real apology, no meal for me, and a waste of my time. Terrible service.

Pro’s - food was tasty, particularly the red snapper and also tuna tartare However, I’ve rarely experienced worse service. 1) Allergy tone deaf - Can you do entree 1 without this accompaniment? “The chef doesn’t like to make adjustments”. Can you remove the sauce on entree two, which I’m allergic to? “I’ll put it on the side” (which he did) 2) Where’s our waiter? - food arrived but we had no silverware and had to go chase it down ourselves. Three requests to get water at the table. And for this experience, the tip is already included in the bill. The lack of aligned incentives for the wait staff might explain some things.
