South Beach is known for wonderful food, but Zen Sai is a prize. The pork belly sliders are melt in your mouth. Rib eye and shrimp skewers with a variety or sauces are delectable. Rock shrimp, cod, and fried rice round out the meal. Don't forget a Saki margarita. We highly recommend this wonderful restaurant. Must add Sandy our server... More

Hello Gabpt, We strive to provide outstanding service with high quality food and are ecstatic to hear about your experience with us. The Saki margarita and spicy rock shrimp are some of my personal favorites, so to hear you enjoyed them as well is not surprising at all. We look forward to the opportunity to serve you again. More

Great food. Staff were lovely. Reasonable prices especially if staying in the Essex House or Clevelander Hotels (20%) discount. The beef and pork were amazing.

Heard such great things about Zen Sai so strolled over for a bite on a recent Sunday. Superb service but average, trendy Japanese. Expected much more interesting. Felt a bit off afterwards. Perhaps a second try for a lunch w closer scrutiny of the menu.

Hello Kaiser, We take pride in our customer service and are happy to hear we provided the quality service we are known for. We are disappointed to hear your food experience was not up to the same standards. We would love another opportunity to have you for dinner and show you the true quality of our food. If you would... Service and everything was terrible. Food is regular high priced and awful service. We were 20 and ordered waited over 2 hours for food and some of us never got what we ordered.

I arrived at the Essex Hotel on Collins Avenue in South Beach to find that my hotel has one of the best restaurants in town. The service and ambiance is awesome. We asked our wait staff to bring us their favorites. We had the most delicious meal from edamame to a shrimp fried rice everything was the best. I saved... More

I ate here because I was a guest at the Essex, and knew they had a great happy hour deal. The sushi is excellent, however I did find it to be a bit overpriced. Service was great, sat at the bar and had a great time talking to the other visitors and bartender! If you're wanting a nice sushi date... More

This place is not great, to say the least. We should have known as we have to enter through an odd hotel that was doing what appeared to a budget late night art class and when we walked in to the restaurant it was dark, dull and boring. They did not have it set up as a typical sushi bar... More
