Cuban restaurant at Miami Beach serving fresh Spanish style food. There is a cue all night, but it's worth the wait. And great value for money

In South Beach most restaurants and business cater mostly to tourists, everything tends to be watered down or "touristified" however Puerto Sagua comes close to retaining the feel of an old school authentic Cuban diner. Unlike many of the other Cuban restaurants in the area this place is low on fluff but high on authenticity, It has quite an extensive... More

I discovered this place, during a recent visit to South Beach with my wife and a few friends. We were looking for authentic Cuban food...we found it! Really good food, large portions, reasonable prices (for the area), and good customer service. I recommend trying their daily specials. They serve a great Cuban sandwich, and you can't go wrong with Filete... More

The clerk at Dollar Bazaar recommended it for lunch last week, and we were not disappointed. We ate at the diner style bar with a very friendly and attentive server whose suggestions were delicious - the Ropa Vieja and a lunch special Churrasco with the black bean rice and fried plantains. Don't miss it.

Large portions, but the food was nearly tasteless. $55 for two, not too bad in this neighbourhood, but the food could have been better.

If you want authentic, wholesome Cuban food this is the place to go. You'll probably have to wait in line but it is definitely worth it.

The restaurant in the heart of South Beach has that worn diner feel that reminds you of your favorite pair of shoes that you would never give up. It was quite busy when we entered at 10:00 pm on a Thursday night, and we knew we were in for something special as we walked in the door. We started with... More

Cuban food. Great tastes with reasonable prices. I think this was the cheapest meal we had. The waitstaff was attentive.

My wife and I came for breakfast, and then we brought our family back for dinner (yes, two meals here on the same day -- don't judge!). Breakfast was solid -- your classic eggs and bacon -- with the great addition of Cuban toast (the bread for cuban sandwiches with butter). It was delicious -- about $10 per person. But... More
