The food was excellent along with the wait staff. They were really busy so it did take awhile to get our food but it was worth the wait. This is my second time dining here and it was great both times.

We stumbled upon this place on the Friday afternoon we arrived in Mt. Dora and being from Tampa were curious about their Cuban food. Too early for dinner so we ordered the appetizer sampler and a carafe of homemade sangria. OMG is all I can say. The empanadas and tamale were more than enough to satisfy and soooo delicious but... I've eaten here before and the food was okay. Went again today (Black Friday), and there was no hostess. We stood at the hostess station for over 10 minutes before anyone acknowledged us. The server told us that someone would be with us soon. A few minutes, another server came by. We asked to sit outside. There was one table... More
Vine con la familia para almorzar y comimos entre algunas cosas, ropa vieja con arroz y habichuelas y tamales, rico, rico rico ! Came with the family for lunch and ordered a few things, shredded beef with rice and beans (blk) with corn tamales and was very, very, very good ! We ate outside but they have indoor seating as... We enjoyed a late lunch here recently. We decided to share appetizers and margaritas for lunch. The portions were very large and we had more than enough food to go with our excellent margaritats. Service was super too!
They feature a wide variety of authentic Cuban food. If you are a beef eater, you must try their churrasco. It's marinated to perfection and served sizzling on a bed of grilled onions. If chicken is your thing, try their Arroz con Pollo. Your included side choices include sweet or savory plantains, saffron rice, white rice, black beans, and red... More
Vista with family for lunch today. We have been here a dozen times before today. Today's service was the best ever, Carly was awesome. Very attentive and she got us our food very quickly. Must haves are the Matias (pork that melts in your mouth ), Bistec De Palomilla is a flavorful thin steak. Mmmmm!
We have 2 steadies....the German restaurant and the Meat Boutique. We come up here every year and go to the same places. Things we're switched up this year. We last came here in 2009 right after they opened. Let's be clear. The two of us had 3 appetizers and a full meal each. So what do you do on an... More
The best cuban food I ever had in my life in cuban restaurants. The price it's reasonable, and the food it's very tasty, authentic and delicious. The waitresses are very helpful and they know the menu very well. I go every time I can with my family, friends and visitors. I will recommend it to anybody.
