Picked up a Neapolitan with sausage and black olives for takeout. It’s been a year or more since we’ve had a pizza that we have not made ourselves. There was very little to encourage us to order from here again, particularly when the pizza was quite salty. Fellow that took our order was pleasant. Grateful that he didn’t ask for a ‘tip’ but instead let us know that there was a cash discount. $18.72 seems a bit dear for anything but ‘really good’ take out.

Since I heard about their extensive "veal" menu I have been waiting for several months for the right "hungry" time to come here with my wife. Yesterday (12/07) was that time. We moved here a few months ago and spotted this location next to a grocery store in a large strip mall. Walked in and discovered a great ambiance. Server was (David K.) was prompt, courteous, knowledgeable and attentive. We chose a good wine from their extensive list/display* (*whole brick wall was covered with selections) and had a Pinot Grigio and a Merlot. Hot garlic buns were great, salads as well especially my Ceasar salad - clearly homemade. My wife had the chicken saltimbocca and I had the veal piccata. Abundant amounts of food with the need to take some home for another meal. Followed by the expected tiramisu and a piece of "Orange Sunshine" cake. They dimmed the lights three times as the evening progressed...very cozy. Needless to say we will be back (often) and will try their other dishes - check their menu!

I took my 2 friends there today (3/31/23) for Geraldine's 69th birthday. Thank you so much, esp. Marissa K., for the hospitality you served us with. She had such a good time; we enjoyed the delicious food and how other customers stopped by the table to wish her a happy birthday; she felt so heartwarming; we even had a nice joke with one of the male customers who called himself "Mr. Silver Fox" because of his hair color and how one of the ladies came to the table to wish her a happy birthday and to surprise us that she was "82" YO and she looks fabulous too. We will be back soon. Thank you for allowing me to hid the little bday cake in the back for her "69" joke. I'm sure you guys in the kitchen loved it. She was happy and so am I. Will see you soon..

I took the family to Joe’s Saturday night for dinner. What a disappointment! We get there to dine in and the hostess sat us in a table where the overhead light had burnt out. When we noticed this I brought it to the hostess attention and she starred at the drop light as in utter dumbfoundness! As she moved us to another table, the man sitting at the table across look at me and said, “Bring your own bulb”. I replied with, “I guess she was stumped by the light being out like she never had that before”. Duhhhh. After being seated at the rear of the restaurant the waitress appeared new. It took forever for us to get the appetizers which were mozzarella sticks. They were warm and appeared and tasted undercooked. Gritty taste and feel. Dinner was about 25 mins later. Once done we were ready to go! When we got the bill the items on my wife’s personal pizza was more than on the menu. When we asked about this the hostess said that we had to raise our prices but haven’t had the chance to change it on the menu. My response was “I don’t care what your today’s prices are, you advised on price and charge a higher price. You need to fix that”! (Bait and switch). With reluctance the hostess appeared to have changed the bill but we didn’t notice that it was changed to ADD a dollar more than fix the price to reflect the correct amount. You lost a customer! I know, I know so what you are one person or group. But I know there’s more out there then me! And while we were still there they didn't fix the light issue and kept sitting people at that table. Piss poor customer service. I have a feeling that if I dropped in there the light is still out!!!

Took out the lasagna and a Tomato Caprese salad. He took one bite of the lasagna and had to spit it out because it was way too salty. I ate a small part of the salad and was very ill overnight. We called to find out if they would offer a replacement dinner and were told they could only give us another lasagna. Who wants another same dish after that bad taste? They could have been a lot more understanding. Do they pay for food they can't eat and enjoy? I don't even want to give them a ⭐

Never ever going back to this place again, I will not spend my hard earn money when they put a charge on my card (Debit), our party of 8 was not informed about this before we asked for separate checks, the % wasn't large but I have to pay to use my Debit, I THINK NOT!!!! It seems businesses like this have to stoop this low because they no longer want to absorb the % that they get charged, even though they never did a few short years ago. CHEAP restaurant, goodbye Joey's If I had the cash on me I could of avoided this mess. There are a lot of very good or better Italian restaurants around that will get my business and I do not have to pay to use my Debit card.

Kathy Shields 11 reviews 48 minutes ago NEW Take out | Dinner | $10–20 Worst customer service anywhere for a simple pizza! They made a mistake and threw black olives all over my pizza (honest mistake). So I called, and the kid kept putting me on hold to ask questions about what to do. He finally said bring it back so we can see it's wrong (as if I was lying). I told him I'm returning it (huge inconvenience at this hour with hungry family) and would like refund, discount or credit and an exchange to which he said no. So I told him I'm just bringing it back for a refund. The person in charge acted like he was doing me a favor by offering to make a new pizza because it was "their mistake". People, when other pizza places make a mistake they've credited me full price or at minimum a $5 coupon. The mistake wasn't the problem; only disappointing. The lack of customer service just lit me on fire, and my family will never go back to Joey's pizza on Little Road. If you order carry out check everything before you leave and drive all the way home to your hungry family. This is a verified customer - the order was under Jennifer K on 10/27/23 - Little Rd. Rude, rude, rude!

I had it delivered from the Little Road location. It has changed the past years. It had been my favorite restaurant, but NOT ANYMORE. Yesterday I had a delivery. It was lukewarm. Chicken Parm was tough and tasteless and they forgot the pasta. I called and pasta was delivered. I called the following morning and Joey said if I had called yesterday and 3/4 of the Chicken was left instead of 1/2 he would have done something.

Ordered a garlic pizza with mozzarella sticks to be delivered. It took well over an hour to get the delivery. I had to call to follow up. I literally live 5 minutes from the restaurant, but it was raining hard and I was lazy to go pick it up. When the food finally came, the pizza was ice cold and the mozzarella sticks came as eggplant, which I hate. When I called they told me that's what I ordered. I said I have never ordered eggplant in my life since I don't like it. They offered to send the correct order, but by that time we were starving as it was almost two hours since the original order. We drove to the restaurant and handed them back the cold, incorrect food and I insisted on a full credit, including delivery charge. They asked if I still wanted the pizza. I said absolutely not. They made me wait at the restaurant almost 20 minutes to get my credit. I use to be a frequent customer of Joey's, but the quality has gone down significantly as well as the customer service. I went home and ripped up their menu. I'll never order from them or go to the restaurant again.

This was a take out experience and I wouldn’t usually write about this but the response when I called was so bizarre and unprofessional that I’m writing about it. My husband and I ordered a pizza and an anti pasta salad to go. We pick it up , it’s ready on time. Get home , pizza is fine. Salad has no artichokes. No olives and no mushrooms, three big ingredients in an anti pasta that are listed. When I called to tell them, all the girl that answers says oh yeah we are out of those. Well they are out of all three ok. I said don’t you think you might have told us this. It changes our salad quite a bit she said well you don’t understand. No one told us that from the kitchen, that’s all. I found that to be a really stupid response ,no I’m sorry I ll tell the manager. I sorry this was just not an appropriate response. I was not looking to get money back but maybe when you come in the next time we’ll get you a salad. But she acted like somehow I was to blame. I guess I could have asked to speak to the manager but by then I was just too perplexed. I didn’t raise my voice i even said I know it’s not your fault but someone didn’t do what they should have. That’s all. Anyways. That’s my experience. Lack of appropriate customer communications I guess.

We were a party of three and we had a very good meal. The meal started with complimentary fresh hot garlic rolls. Delicious!! The Fettuccini Alfredo with Shrimp was exceptional. The alfredo was rich and creamy. The shrimp were jumbo and cooked perfect. The Shrimp Scampi over Linguine was also very good. Though there was too much garlic (seemed like several cloves freshly sliced) for my personal taste, but still very good. The Caesar salads were delicious with great croutons. The veal piccata was also very good per my wife. The portion sizes were very large. No one finished the meal. The prices were also very reasonable. The three entrees, two soft drinks and 2 glasses of wine was approximately $68.00. I found the server to be polite and personable. They were all wearing face coverings. The food was a little slow to arrive, but it was a busy Friday night. The place is small but comfortable. We will certainly return and will recommend to friends. BTW we went to the new location in Trinity.

So, these guys must know that if an order is placed and a pick up time is given, people are going to be miffed if you arrive to be told another 20-25 minutes. It's just bad business. The food is really good, but the lack of personality from the 5 people standing at the register and aimlessly staring off into space is a tad bit frustrating. I understand that covid has everyone frazzled, especially service industry folks, but a couple of words to express regret for the additional wait, would go a very long way. Additionally, it might be a good idea if when you're told that there's an additional wait, you're giving instruction as to either go outside or find a spot on the wall to hold up. Won't go back.

This is the second location I have visited. This is a smaller dining room then the other. Staff was friendly and seated us. As just a test we ordered a small salad. Which was large and appeared very fresh. Then on to the mushroom pizza we ordered. Now I'm originally from OLD Brooklyn. So I consider I have had the best Pizza made. I compare all food to NY. This pie came up short on the taste test. The sauce had no flavor and the crust couldn't hold the weight of the toppings. So I had to eat the slice with a knife and fork. I'm a Brooklyn hold and fold the slice. We took a few slices home. But I ordered a Chix Parm sandwich to go. Priced right but no flavor again. Also the sandwich had strips of chicken not a whole cutlet. So it was like eating air when you bite. The chances of going back are 50-50.Just to try a dinner portion which looked huge on other guests plates. Want to know if a chicken parm plate comes in strips or a whole cutlet? But how about the flavor?

I'm one of those diners who very much enjoys interacting with my server, keeping in mind they're usually sharing their time with other tables. It's not everyday you get someone as good at all-in-fun sarcastic banter, but Melissa 319 was among the best I've found at it. She made the experience fun. The decor and setting set the Italian mood without being over the top. But the true highlight of my visit was one of the best Veal Marsala dishes I've ever eaten. You bet I'll be back. Perfectly done, delicious and a very generous portion.
