If you like Sharkey's restaurant on the Gulf eside of Florida, you'll be happy at JB's Fish Camp. It's quintessential Old Florida: on the water, wooden benches with inside and outside dining, brown paper towel napkins, plastic tackle box to hold salt, pepper and hand wipes. Does the bar food taste good? Who cares. It's all about the casual, water-side... More

Can’t say much either good or bad about this restaurant. The big drawing point is the outdoor dining but it was too windy for eating outside when we were there. The indoor seating is basically picnic tables with brown paper on top. The food was very good but the atmosphere was lacking. Although we were not personally inconvenienced, the rest... More

Traveled to JB's by boat on a Saturday afternoon with friends. Place was packed, live music played and the draft beer was ice cold. Everyone enjoyed their shrimp and other apps. I had one dozen oysters that were the perfect size with a hint of salt water.

Like to good and the casual atmosphere. Good is good and basic but tasty. Our waitress thought she was our best friend which we didn't appreciate but I know some people love it. We have been here before and that has not happened.

Had a visit here recently not knowing what to expect - we wanted a decent fish based lunch for one of our vacation days in Florida and found this place recommended online. We were a table of 7 and turned up at around 11.45am on a Thursday - we were the only customers on arrival but by 12.30 there wasn't... More

We had a group of about 20 people for lunch. I had the fried scallops basket with seasoned french fries and a dab of coleslaw. The scallops were smaller than I expected but there were a lot of them. I also ordered their famous hush puppies which I think they are mentioned in Fodors as the best in Florida. The... More

My wife and i ventured here yesterday from our resort in Daytona Beach. Even though we got there at 1:30pm, it was still very busy. Since it was a beautiful February afternoon, we asked to sit outside. The friendly hostess obliged, and led us to a recently vacated, perfectly located, waterfront table. After a short wait, our server, Bryan d,... More

Fun to go to for ambiance. Relaxed atmosphere. Down home. Pretty much fried food. You should go there at least once.

Loved eating here. You can eat at outside tables overlooking the water. They had an outdoor band performing. I didn't really care for the music but thought that it was a really nice added feature. They gave you plenty of food for your money. Seems to be a very popular local spot
