Have eaten here on previous holidays and had a great time, unfortunately this time it just didn't happen. The food is good but pretty standard fare, what does make this place is the wait staff. Unfortunately on this visit our waiter made no effort with...More

Elbows off, and eat you greens. The cafe is a step back in time, and is the most fun cafe I've ever been to anywhere in the world. I had meatloaf and vegetables, and it was delicious. It was a little cool, but I enjoyed...More

4 star review for food, but 5 star review for just about the nicest thing anyone did for us in Disney: getting us a table when we really, really needed it. Having read some other reviews, it seemed that the Tune-In Lounge was the quick...More

I'm reviewing a number of Disney eateries and will start them all with this same preface. Disney offer a very wide range of eating styles and options but I think you rarely come across anything that has a depth of quality or the authenticity that...More

Love the food, atmosphere and location. We always have a good time with the servers. The food we ordered was as described. The potpies were huge and tasty as was the chicken dinner and sandwiches.

In the past we loved the fried chicken at 50's. But this time, the chicken breast was not edible. The other pieces were fine. The mashed potatoes & fries were also good. We'd probably go back again to give it another chance. But we were...More

We ate here twice during our Disney holiday and loved both visits!!!.. The kids thought it was amazing that dad was made to eat his veg! I would strongly recommend making a reservation as the wait time can be lengthy. The portions are enormous so...More

Recently ate here, it took 30 minutes before a waiter served us. Disney compensated us with a fast pass. Oh boy! I had the pot roast which was burnt but not bad. The desert was bland, a brownie sundae. It was a chocolate chocolate chip...More

We booked in here for our first ever dining experience at Disney, having walked passed it many times before. The queue for a table was huge but having a reservation meant we were seated within 15mins. The food was lovely, the server was excellent and...More

50's Prime Time Café serves classic American comfort food in a TV-themed setting. The restaurant sits across from Echo Lake in Disney's Hollywood Studios theme park. The 50's Prime Time Café menu includes family favorites like golden fried chicken, traditional meatloaf and pot roast, cooked the way Mom used to make it—that is, if Mom were a 1950s sitcom star.Be welcomed into Mom's family and feel at home in her kitchenette. But Mom expects you to mind your manners, so don't be surprised if she tells you to keep your elbows off the table. It's all part of the old-fashioned fun and gentle ribbing that's served up along with the food.TV Tables and Tune-In LoungeFor a special treat at 50's Prime Time Café, grab a "TV Table" that seats up to 4 diners and has a television next to the table that broadcasts clips from popular prime time sitcoms circa 1955 including "Father Knows Best" and the original "Mickey Mouse Club."Bop into 50's Prime Time Café for lunch or dinner. Cocktails, wines by the glass and frosty beers are available from Mom for Guests 21 years of age and older, or relax in the Tune-In Lounge full-service bar and sip Dad's Electric Lemonade or Grandma's Picnic Punch. From the mid-50s knick-knacks and memorabilia that decorate this restaurant to the dessert menu displayed through viewfinder toys, nostalgia is the main ingredient at 50's Prime Time Café.
