Sure the food is excellent, rising above the mediocrity prevalent in the resort areas and Intl Drive. But the people make it. The service. Particularly Tia. The best. Go for breakfast. Take a pie home too.

Great Fresh Food takes a moment to prepare. This is a GREAT PLACE. French toast is French all the way through. Not just French on the outsides. Known for their Pies.

Great staff. Never been treated so good in a restaurant ever....The person who was collecting bill even hugged us while leaving, even though we were tourist and may not be a repeat customer. Felt really good - like home.

The staff here is a hoot and the selection of tap beers are decent. Ask Mary for a Joke! Great new burgers on the menu. Affordable fun!

Since the Doubletree does not include breakfast, our group found ourselves here for two mornings of our stay. Breakfast was filling and not too expensive. Think Diner Food and you have got the feel of this restaurant. Food came out quick and the standards were all decent. Yogurt Parfait was particularly well liked by the teenagers in the group.

I was raving about this place to a business colleague because my wife and I had had good experiences there a few years ago. Unfortunately, the ownership, chef or something had changed, and the food was embarrassingly bad. We both ordered the eggs benedict -- the English muffins were not toasted and the hollandaise sauce was bland and tasteless. In... More

Stopped in for our annual visit and have a light something on Sunday afternoon. Sandwiches were good. We could watch the football game and my husband could have a beer. The people working here are always friendly and very homey. I feel like I'm eating at a small town diner. It's nothing fancy but The Village in always makes me... More

We stayed 4 nights at the Doubletree across the street and we at breakfast at the Village Inn 4 times. It was exactly what you would expect from a diner breakfast - just good, simple food and nothing fancy. The staff was great and checked in with us often. For Orlando that is chock full of national chain restaurants that... More
