Our family group of 6 booked an early breakfast here. This enabled early access to the park, and let us enjoy some rides after breakfast before the queues built up. The breakfast itself was surprisingly good, and the best we have had in an Orlando park. It was set up as an eat as much as you like buffet and... More

We did the character breakfast at the Crystal Palace. It was my sons birthday so when I made reservations I also ordered a cake. The characters were awesome and came around to each table . My son was thrilled as Pooh Bear is his favorite. The food is a buffet and it is ok. It's definitely pricy for the style... More

And respectively parents. When our kids are happy and we can get them to eat - we're happy. We have some great and goofy pictures with the characters and definitely recommend any of the character dining spots. :)

This pre-bookable (via the Disney website) meal option at The Swan is a fun experience. The menu is not over comprehensive but the food is excellent. Buffet style starter area and buffet style mini-dessert area with your selected entrees brought to the table by your waitperson (In our case Melanie who was a real gem for whom nothing was too... My family enjoyed character 4 character dining experience's during our stay in Disneyland. For my family it was what the most wanted experience they wanted to do while in Disney. It took months of advance reservations but it is worth it if this is what your family enjoys.

There are several character dining experiences available. If you have the dining plan and children this is the choice to make. No waiting in lines to see characters, however, there are limited characters available. No dining plan, expect to spend $150-200+ for a family of 4 and a recommended 18% tip. My question- do the characters get paid from the... More

When it comes to atmosphere, Disney is spot on. You feel like you are in an old Norwegian Castle. I mean... you are. The food is a combination of buffet and table service. The buffet is a great way to taste authentic cuine of Norway. There are many choices available and it's great for experiencing a different flavor profile. The... More

We had reservations for 3 different character dining meals - Crystal Palace, Tusker House, and Chef Mickey. Yes, they are expensive (we had the dining plan), but the experience was priceless - my children loved all of them! Breakfast at Chef Mickey was the best food of all of them and the best characters because you got to see 5... More

If you have the dining plan and especially if it is free, character dining is a no-brainer! Our family party of 6 adults and 3 children age 7, 8 and 9 love meeting the characters. The smiles tell the whole story. We did 8 of our 14 table service meals as character meals. Couldn't fault it, the characters give so... More
