I ordered the fish and chips. When I broke open the first piece, the fish smelled like ammonia. I took it to the counter and was offered a new piece of fish.....no thanks.... or a salad.... not a salad person. I waited for my friends to finish eating (they did not have fish), paid for a meal that I did... More

In a more budget-minded mood for fish and chips than the menu price at Cod and Capers, I drove 10 minutes west (just past Military Trail) and found Lola's. I'm glad I did. Lola's isn't exactly cheap, but the basket of fish and chips was a perfect lunch portion, served steaming hot, which made me forget I'd just paid about... More

Went here for lunch to scratch my itch for real fried clams, i.e., fried clams with bellies as opposed to clam strips. The clams were not bad ... better than most in the area (if you can even find them). But, I found the clams a bit pricey. My companion had a blackened mahi-mahi sandwich which was very good. The... Every so often, I get a craving for fried whole-belly clams like I used to get from seaside clam shacks all over the New England coast back home. Lola's satisfies that craving with the best fried clams I've had in FL. She also makes an excellent lobster roll, either hot buttered (my fave) or cold with mayo. The salad, which... More

I would recommend this little spot for lunch any day of the week. I had Tuna Tacos and the fish was as fresh as it gets. Creamy and tasty. Almost better than sushi grade... Not much atmosphere, but it was obvious no one cared.

Unassuming gem, they have a good variety of grilled fish and fish tacos. As well, salads and other dishes. Blackened salmon was finished with a crisp coating but remained juicy and delicious. Fair prices to boot!

I was underwhelmed when we first walked in at the recommendation of a friend. Its an order, take your number and the waitress will bring you your food place. As casual as it gets. I ordered the shrimp taco and my husband had the fish and chips. My taco was great, filled with shrimp, a bean salsa, crunchy lettuce, etc... More

What a nice surprise to find this place, good news there is more than one. Whole belly clams great, every meal I've tried has been great.

This was my fourth visit. I had the lobster roll for $19.50 and was disappointed. It was a small bun filled with shredded lobster meat. It was not a mayo-based lobster salad as I was expecting. I've had bigger, meatier lobster rolls at The highly-rated Legal Seafood for about the same price. The fried clam strips were excellent and plentiful.... More

I love my seafood. Have been waiting to go to lola's to try their whole belly clams which I love. I was a bit disappointed in not only the size but the fact that they were more strips then whole bellies. Lots of crunchy pieces of batter. Fries were very good as well as the coleslaw. Will have to go... More
