Early dinner, friends and I had different seafood platters, great and quick service, will not break your budget. Very casual and informal.

Two friends and I were shopping in Pensacola when a local highly recommended The Oar House for a late lunch. We found the restaurant on a pier at the marina with no problem and were seated immediately. We ordered a crab dip and tortilla chip appetizer that was fresh and delicious. We all ordered shrimp from the lunch menu. I... More

We stopped by for lunch. Very nice atmosphere. It sits on a bayou at the mouth of Pensacola Bay. The food was good as was the service. The prices where above average. Overall a nice experience. Good job.

Mahi Mahi tacos were large & decent. Fried calamari was fresh tasting. Grouper platter was cold. Service was horrible.

We have friends that have a weekend house in Pensacola and we asked for recommendations the Oar House was the first one. We had lunch waterside and the food was great. We started with a crab and artichoke dip. I liked it but my partner thought the crab was too strong. We each had the fish basket, he added shrimp.... More

Had dinner there last night. Excellent service. Sandwiches were very flavorful. Tuna appetizer was average. I will be back!

We were seated on the rail overlooking the channel. The water side views are great. The staff servers are friendly and accommodate your every need. The portion and food quality exceeded our expectations. Great for lunch or dinner.

The Oar House is kind of off the beaten path, and as a tourist you probably will not just "find it"... but it is well worth scouting out if you want good local food without the tourist prices. As a local, this is a great palace to set up for your normal rotation. The inside dining area is large and... More

The Oar House is probably our favorite downtown Pensacola restaurant! You really just can't go wrong by ordering anything here whether it's a dinner or a fish sandwich! Warning... their fish sandwiches are huge! My favorite is the grilled grouper sandwich, wow is it phenomenal! And the atmosphere is spectacular! Only bad thing to say is they have a very... More
