The service was pretty slow and the place was freezing. The prices are high for what you get. The food was good , but I don't think it's as good as they think it is.

We grabbed a seat outside and the service was the slowest I have ever had anywhere!! I ordered the blu cheese burger and the waitress asked how I wanted it cooked, I answered medium with some pink in the middle..... it came out so fully cooked it was as dry as a piece of charcoal and was warm at best... We stopped by for brunch before visiting Palafox Market and ate the best food we've had during our visit. Everything seemed homemade and it all tasted good. The biscuits were much better than usual restaurant fare. I don't care for onions but the ones in my egg dish were exceptionally sweet and good. The service was friendly, helpful and prompt.... More
While in town for business, I had dinner one night and brunch Sunday morning. Both meals were very good. Great menu with choices to fit everyone. Atmosphere was very inviting and laid back. My server, Kat Bary, was awesome and attentive. Good experience all around!!!
Although the food was good, the portions are tiny. Judging by the menu and atmosphere I expected more. A little disappointed.
Needed a quick place to have lunch on Palafox with easy parking. Had a great lunch on the patio and an excellent cup of tea. Mine was the chicken salad. My client had the chicken wrap and sweet potato fries which were crispy and very tasty! Will definitely visit again when I'm in town
I've had breakfast here 4 times, and each time I felt the same. The food is great. I love that they "stay local". But the service (my experience) is not good. I had the build your own breakfast, eggs, corn beef hash and biscuit. My sister had the "Toad in the hole" Both were very good. Service was fast and friendly. Server (forgot to get her name)answered our questions and gave her recommendations.I would eat here again..
The restaurant was pretty much at capacity for lunch. Had the veggie roll; it was pedestrian at best. Side of cole slaw was excellent. Service was fast and efficient. As a "fine dining" experience, I'd pick someplace else further south on Palafox St., but for a quick lunch, the food and service were OK.
