Meatball soup was cold. Turkey sandwich ("The Rachel") was good. Salads were fresh. Dressings were okay. Average meal. Restaurant was dirty. Not worth the drive from the Turnpike. Disappointed. Food: 3/5 Atmosphere: 1/5 Service: 3/5

A great restaurant with feel good food. It's been in PSL forever and I just ate there recently for the first time. The food and service is good. Very quaint. Would eat there again and would recommend it.

My title says it all. The food was great and so was the service. Definitely a great little gem to eat at!

We've been here a few times. The food is excellent as well as the service. The staff seems to know most people, regulars perhaps. The menu is varied seafood, burgers, sandwiches and dinners. Excellent soups and salads.

Yes, it is a full service liquor bar. Have a great time. You will love this place.
My daughter & I are going to see a show this Friday at the Pineapple Playhouse & want to eat here before the show (around 6:00pm). Is it usually very busy on a Friday evening? Should I make a reservation just to be safe?

You definitely want to make a reservation on a Friday evening. In season is unpredictable. The Cottage is worth the phone call and reservation. Enjoy dinner and the show.
