The first floor is the gelato and sorbet station, full of great flavors that are high quality and refreshing. I took my family here after dinner in St. Augustine and they loved it! Great service. They give you samples of any flavor before you order. Even a small size lets you pick two different flavors. My family ordered chocolate, coffee,... More

This place has the best gelato ever! My friend and I went here twice during our weekend stay in St. Augustine. I had cookies & cream and NY Cheesecake which was phenomenal, and then I also tried the pistachio which was also good. She got the limoncello and pineapple, which were sooo refreshing and creamy, and then got the butterfinger... More

Delicious. The let us split our panini and still gave us each a pickle and enough chips. Economical: great food at a decent price. 8.99 for a nice size panini, enough for two!

The gelato here was really fantastic! They have a great and varied flavor selection, and the portions were generous. Their espresso was also worth a try!

This place came highly recommended by locals. The gelato was good but it came at a high price. The large was huge! Was hoping for coconut but they don't have any. Actually preferred the mango sorbet over the gelato.

It's a little confusing on the paying and ordering process here, but just figure it out because the gelato was delicious! Chocolate peanut butter was the bomb, and the strawberry sample was yummy too!

Welcome to St Augustine the oldest city in the nation. It comes with its charm, old buildings, narrow streets and one of a kind atmosphere that is so different what we are used to when dealing with corporate and chain food establishments. We are located in a building that is a 400 year old replica od Spanish Nobelman's house so... More

When in St Augustine, the Café del Hidalgo is a definite necessary stop. Their panini sandwiches are second to none. Their pies and sundaes are excellent. However I think their gelato and sorbet just can't be beat. I look forward to going there any time I am in St Augustine. I highly recommend this establishment to anyone, you won't be... More

Homemade gelato in a wide assortment of flavors. We tried several and all were fantastic on their own way. I've seen some reviews saying it's too pricey. But, this is not your $1 McDonald's soft serve. You get what you pay for and you are getting fresh made daily gelato. One thing I would change: the strawberry cheesecake was delicious... More

probably the best gelato we've ever had. and we're picky. try the limoncello! daytime service is great, however late afternoon/evening service is iffy with college aged kids running the place.

For a family of five it cost us 27.00!!!! For the smallest portions available - wow. Disappointed that there was no strawberry, raspberry, cherry. Although the St. George St. area is expensive overall so the price was not totally out of line.....we would not go back, we would try a different place the next time. Not sure why they do... More
