Had my usual...the eggplant parm with pasta. As usual it was too big for me to eat there, so I took half home. Very good indeed.

Carmelo's is located with a Shell gas station. We visited on a weekend for lunch. When we arrived about 11:30 there was only one other person in the restaurant. We chose Carmelo's because of the rave reviews from locals. And boy were they right! The employees were friendly and helpful. The food was piping hot and delicious. We ordered a... More

Great pizza, mozzarella sticks and garlic knots! Would recommend to anyone visiting the area! Get the Italian Sausage on your pizza pie! You won't be sorry!

This place is tucked alongside a gas station, which can be overlooked if you walk in the gas station side. The restaurant side gives you the atmosphere of a pizzeria and has wonderful pizza to back it up. Location is not in the old part of town but an easy walk to it - closer to Flagner College. We had... We went to the gas station marketplace and at first saw only the pizzas in the display cases. My daughter made us go to the other side of the wall where we found a cozy little restaurant with booths, a bar, and a couple of big screen TVs. Had pizza, Italian style wings, fried okra, and calamari --- all very... More

I've been here on many occasions for lunch. Don't let the fact that its a gas station and convenience store stop you. Pizza is really delicious. They sell it by the slice, heat it back up in the brick oven, and bring it to your table. The other side (opposite the convenience store) is a full service restaurant (shares same... More

Well, attached to a gas station anyway. My husband is quite the pizza connoisseur and it's his favorite. They also put together a mean salad that will more than fill you up, and good sandwiches too. Not the most picturesque spot in town, but the great food more than makes up for it.

This is a locals favorite. The food is awesome and the service wonderful. All the ingredients are fresh and you can't go wrong on a wonderful pizza. 👍🏻
