Visiting from Dallas , had dinner twice and found the hostess and waitresses very enjoyable and 2 nights of great food. Spent about $200 bucks. Leaving tomorrow and tried to get another dinner meal. We needed a place that was pet friendly with at least...some shade and fans- hot and humid today. First off valet was mandatory and parking was available near the outdoor dining area. Explained my Chocolate Lab has cancer and a tumor on her paw (she is 13) and asked if I could park by the ramp , take my lab out and go to the outdoor seating. attendant was very cooperative . My wife tried to check in. I took my lab to the table we sat at the previous 2 days and started to sit down . There were only a few people sitting outside in the heat.My wife came back out and said they would not seat us because they were busy , she said there really wasn't even many people outside and flat out refused us. She asked if we could make reservations and told no! although their webpage said you can make reservations ?? I don't get it. The wait time was 45 minutes to an hour and said we could wait out in the sun! The valet had already started to take or car. I stopped him, brought my lab back, picked her up and put her back in the back seat and drove away. Overall very uncaring and rather rude1 Now regret even doing business with them!More

I enjoyed shrimp and grits, which was delicious! The white wine butter sauce was oh so flavorful! Each bite was just unbelievable. The Clean Slate Riesling was cold and crisp. DH had shrimp and fish combo, not your ordinary fried fish. The seasoning was perfect,...the tartar sauce is house made as is the cocktail sauce. The fish was a thick cut white fish and so, so good. There were thick cut steak fries with a delicious seasoning as well as hush puppies and Cole slaw. I would go back again and again! Kyla provided wonderful service and was attentive to all our needs.More

Memorial Day weekend and no reservation, we called and then showed up at 5:00. There were two seats at the bar and we took those. Paul was the bartender and he was terrific! We got a bottle of the house Chardonnay, even that was decent!...We shared the Greek salad and then my husband had the spicy seafood linguini - he loved it - apparently for $4.00 more they would let you split the entree worth asking about if you want something a bit smaller. I had the deviled crab basket. What a great surprise, it was actually deep fried stuffed crab! The fries and cole slaw were great and the hush puppies so light. We just stopped in town for the night on our way back home - but what a wonderful find!!More

Terrific fried oysters! Can’t wait to go back. They were great about substitutions - and even the house Chardonnay was excellent. Prompt and smiling staff made it even better.

Lived up to the hype! We visited St. Augustine for a week in May and when asking where we should eat, this place was mentioned several times so we had to put it on the list. We made reservations for 7, 3 kids under 12,...and 4 adults. We were seated promptly and had great service. The atmosphere was very inviting and we were quickly greeted, seated, and drinks ordered. The food was some of the best we had on our trip. We ordered several appetizers which came out quickly and just as quickly disappeared! They were all so good. After asking the waitress for recommendations, she insisted I go with shrimp & grits because I mentioned how much I like them. She said I would be very pleased and she was right! Easily the best shrimp & grits I’ve ever had. They were very rich so I couldn’t finish them off but I’d go back just for those. The kids had fried fish and chicken and were happy with their meals. I can’t recall what my mom & husband ordered because I was consumed by my meal but they both said it was the best food the whole trip (and we tried a new place each day). Dining highlight for our trip.More

Wow is an understatement. This place exceeded ALL expectations. We did not make a reservation and arrived with a 45 minute wait for a party of 3. The complimentary valet took our vehicle and we waited by the water for only 20 minutes before our...table was ready. The space was clean and the staff were kind and knowledgeable of the menu. We ordered the gator tail bites with aioli. PHENOMENAL. We ate every crumb. My husband ordered the combo fried fish and shrimp and my best friend ordered the combo fried fish and scallops. I ordered the prime sirloin. Everything was absolutely delicious. If I could give 100 stars I would. The staff had such a great flow going that made everything feel efficient and successful. Highly recommend!More

We are traveling and have dogs. Did a takeout. Expertly packaged fried shrimp, fish and fries for me with scrumptious Cole slaw. My wife got the crab cakes. Even after taking back to hotel it was all perfect. I’ve lived, fished and cooked everything that...swims, creeps and crawls. This place is tops. Oh, and service was incredible.More

The food is very fresh and definitely made on site. My husband had the fried fish sandwich with fries and he raved about everything including the roll. I had the all day fish soup and 3 sides. Okra and tomatoes, sautéed spinach and collard greens,...all perfectly seasoned. My husband also liked local brew, Veterans United Pilsner. We loved sitting outside overlooking the river and our server was super pleasant and efficient. His name is Jacob.More

We had an excellent dinner, and the service from Cole was superb! I had the broiled seafood platter, and wife had a baked cod entree. Both were outstanding, and don't forget the key lime pie!

Great walking distance from historic downtown and especially from our weekend rental; lots of light and an outside patio for dinning. We didn’t have a reservation (recommended) so we opted for a high top in the bar. Our server, Brian or Ryan (he resembled Denzel...Washington 😉) was courteous, menu knowledgeable, funny and efficient. There is also a server who resembles Sandra Bullock, so if you’re looking for some good Hollywood doppelgängers, this place has it! After entree selections and drink orders he checked in on us but wasn’t a hoverer! Drinks; local IPA was good, 2- mojitos were tasty and my red sangria was one of the best and refreshing I’ve had in a while. Great selections. Entrees: 2 fish of the day sandwich’s which came with fries and slaw, perfect size and the fish was crisp on the outside but consistently moist on the inside; 1-shrimp and grits, which our daughter in law says was one of the tastiest she’s had around; and 1-brook trout topped with arugula, red potatoes and a deviled egg, super pretty and tasty too! We were all very satisfied with our meals, drinks and service. And would we recommend? Absolutely! Freshest fish and fun vibe.More

This was another place on our list. We arrived for an early dinner around 5:00 and there were tables available right away. We started with a couple of beers and ordered starters a New England Clam Chowder which was very good and Mussels Mariniere which...was delicious! For Entrees Spicy Shrimp Linguini which was good and the Whole Fried Fish which was delicious! Really Enjoyed it, when we left the parking lot was packed so try to come before 6:00pm. Found the prices very good.More
