For the past 2 years, I have taken my girlfriend here for our dating anniversary. This year, she told me this is the greatest date she has ever been on!!! Food was incredible: Tableside 1905 salad is a must and the bread is always warm...More

If you love Cuban food, this is the place for you! Authentic and the restaurant is a lively place, great for families for lunch. It gets pretty crowded but I’ve never had to wait very long for a table. All the food is good but...More

Travelers without budget limits should be very happy here. It was a restaurant well worth the wait (about 75 minutes on a weekday). Though there is a wait involved, the restaurant has wisely adopted the text method of contact when a patron's table is ready,...More

Location, and atmosphere were great. Service was prompt and courteous, but the flavors were not there. Being Hispanic, I know very well how food is supposed to taste.More

Thank you for dining with us. Our menu items are a blend of both of our family heritages, Spanish and Cuban -- showcasing many traditional foods as well as many items created by the five generations of family members who have continuously owned and operated...More

This is the most attractive restaurant we have visited in Florida, and the quality and value of the food is excellent. Having visited The Columbia in St.Armands Circle, Sarasota, the quality of food and staff service is consistent and such a wonderful change to all...More

Stopped at Columbia on a busy Saturday. We were assigned a table in the back of an upstairs area. That said, our server was especially confused by her tasks. It was a while before drink orders were taken, and another 10 before the she got...More

The food, service and atmosphere is absolutely wonderful. Love the style of the restaurant and the history behind it. Food is pricy but it is well worth it. Nice night put for a date night

The food, the service and atmosphere is exemplary and there’s so much you can say about the Columbia except that it’s too small and you’ll have to wait a little. Because it is just that good!

Attempted to eat there. Arrived 5:50 pm on 1/3/18. Hostess said 45 minute wait, though empty tables were available. Restrooms were unclean and another woman ahead of me complained about them. Lobby was crowded because it was cold outside, nowhere to sit other than 2...More

Description
Family-owned and operated for over 111 years, Columbia has earned acclaim for its old-world charm and award-winning Spanish/Cuban cuisine and wine list. Join us for century-old family recipes like Paella "a la Valenciana," Filet Mignon and fresh seafood specialties. Don't miss Columbia's Original "1905" Salad(R), prepared tableside with our delicious, freshly-made dressing, a 110-year-old family recipe of fresh garlic, oregano, wine vinegar and Spanish extra virgin olive oil. Be sure to sample a fine Spanish wine like Montecillo or Campillo. Relax in our courtyard or Mediterranean-style dining rooms, filled with hundreds of hand-painted tiles and Spanish-style fountains. We are a sister to the Columbia in Tampa's Ybor City, founded in 1905. Children's menu available. Casual attire is fine, but we don't allow sleeveless shirts on men. Open 365-days a year, including all holidays. Please visit our website for the most current menu listings.
