We ate their two mornings While we were there, the Oak Room was open only for breakfast. The coffee was hot, the wait staff was excellent, but the choices were limited and the buffet scrambled eggs got cold very quickly. Defintely NOT worth $16. If...our stay had been longer, we would have looked for options in the area. In the evening, the bar was open and the bar tenders were warm and welcoming, even allowing me to bring in a slice of pizza one evening!More

We are staying at the Doubletree that the Oak Room is in. What a pleasure to go to a decent restaurant in a hotel! Great food, nice decor, and reasonable prices. Our server, Dylan was awesome!

The Oak Room in the Double Tree was a great find. After a busy day it was wonderful to go back to the hotel and have a good meal. Sonny provided great service and was very friendly. The food was top notch.

Had breakfast while staying at the Doubletree Hotel. Full buffet for $16 included scrambled eggs, sausage, bacon, oatmeal, croissants, fruit and much more. We ordered omelettes which were also included in the buffet. They were huge and delicious. Coffee, tea and juices also included. Very good!

Six of us had lunch there since our hotel restaurant did not serve lunch. The service was very good and the food was excellent. Everyone enjoyed what they had except for the Grouper sandwich. It did not taste like Grouper and had too much slaw...and sauce on the sandwich. I had the chicken Ruben and my husband had the steak Ruben.....both were very good. Our friends had the Grouper and their comments are noted above.More

We ate there 3 times. Breakfast seemed typical fare. A buffet and from the menu. We ordered eggs Benedict and oatmeal. The oatmeal came with real cream, candied walnuts, crasins, and brown sugar. Excellent! Eggs Benedict? Excellent! Lunch we had tomato Florentine soup, Philly cheese...steak egg rolls, and chicken panini. Excellent. Waitstaff, EXCELLENT!More

When we booked over the holiday, I can't say I was expecting much but an edible meal would have been great. It was supposed to be a buffet and previous years reviewed it as such. We figured we had a shot. We figured wrong. It...turned out to be a plated meal. They offered a few choices: a burger, salmon, ham, turkey, pasta. The burger was ok, the turkey should have been pardoned. It was dry, served with very little gravy, a small teaspoon of cranberry sauce RIGHT FROM THE CAN, congealed green bean casserole...ick...and complaining did no good. Offering me crappy pie for free is not going to fix this meal. The breakfast was ok...not bad for the holiday weekend but frankly, could have changed a bit more day to day just for variety.More

Stayed at the Double Tree Hilton in St. Augustine in early November 2018 with my sister and niece, and we were very pleased on all fronts. The rooms were clean and comfortable. The staff on the front desk, maids and servers were extremely friendly and...helpful. Eat in the Oak Room Restaurant for dinner and breakfast. The food was excellent and fairly priced. Thank you to our waiter, Dylan who was truly superb.More

We stopped in for breakfast, which was included in our stay at the hotel. We were greeted and served by Sonny who was very friendly and engaging. She spoke with us offering advice for things to do in town. We enjoyed the experience.

Our party of 5 local diners decided to give the Oak Room a try- We were seated and immediately had our drink orders taken. Our server Courtney was very attentive and soon returned with our drinks and bread to take our orders. We each had...a different entree. All were artfully plated and very tasty. One member of our group had the scallops which were just slightly overdone. Courtney was very quick to assist and soon delivered a fresh plate, perfectly done. We all sampled the delicious tiramisu and then Chef Wilfredo Rivera brought us a complementary "Snowball" dessert that was also delicious.Overall, our experience was wonderful. In a city with many fine restaurants, this one stands out for the quality of the experience- both the food and the excellent service. We had the good fortune to be there on a quiet weeknight, but I feel certain the staff actually care about the guest experience and the product they are presenting. We will definitely go back and would not hesitate to recommend the Oak Room for a great meal and fantastic customer serviceMore

I wanted to try somewhere different so using trip advisor I started looking for places nearby. The atmosphere isn’t the best but the food was excellent! I had the filet and my husband had the ribeye served with risotto and white asparagus. Both were cooked...perfectly and delicious. I would definitely recommend giving this place a try.More

We have had breakfast and lunch here, and the food is good, great menu, service is spot on. They had a chef making special order eggs, omelettes, something you normally don't see on the buffet line. The bar area is much larger than others, all...in all, not a bad place to enjoy a meal or beverage.More
