The wired and wild little oyster bar with the worst bands ever has closed down. I was told they lost the lease, no idea just that the place is closed.

Graffiti all over which puts some people off. Personally I found it part of the charm. Open days and evenings. Closes down for part of the winter. Good fun on quiz night. Good choice of beer and buying by the jug is cheaper.
This restaurant/raw bar closed. I was on the Island again last week. There is some construction being done on the former Eddy Teach's building. We are hopeful there will soon be a great new restaurant - as the location is awesome!
We went in October. With very few people in the place, we waited for service, finally got to place an order after 15 mins. Oysters came out in reasonable time.... the rest of our meal never came after waiting another hour, so we left hungry....More
Went by yesterday and it is closed. We had been there last spring and really enjoyed it so we're sorry to see it all shuttered up.
Great dive bar with terrific oysters and atmosphere. Check on the happy hour specials especially if you like raw oysters.
What a terrible shame that this place is no longer opened.I really loved their happy hour of delicious oysters any way you wanted them,. Had it on my list to go back to on my vacation and was terribly disappointed when I drove to it...More
A trip to SGI just isn't complete without a stop at Eddy Teach's. The quaint atmosphere adds to the charm. Food is good and reasonably priced.
Wanted to go thanksgiving weakens, but they were closed. Not sure if this is pregnant off not, but it isn't a good weekend to be closed if not permanently.
We used to love this place, but it's closed and boarded up now and even the sign has been taken down. It's a shame, it was a fun place and one of the first places we dined years back when we moved down here.
