Outstanding Mexican food, with many delicious options you'll rarely see elsewhere, and an exceptional bar. A bit loud inside, but outdoor seating is available.

Even though I have live in this area for more than 20 years I had never tried "Red Mesa". I decided to take my wife there for her birthday. It was really great! We only had several of their appetizers and they were really great! I had the pleasant surprise than the pitcher of sangria was 50% off on Wednesdays,... More

Delicious, excellent food and service. Like a cross between Mexican and Cuban cuisine. Yummy. When in area again will definitely stop in for another great meal.

When I tell you great, Red Mesa exceeds expectations. From the scrumptious chips and salsa served as you sit down to the guacamole, quesadillas and meats, the rice, beans, everything was amazing. The atmosphere was exceptional with the dimmed lights, candles, and my favorite--salsa music playing! The service was good, a very clean place filled with great foods ! Can't... More

Visited recently with my aunt who lives local. Was not sure what to expect, but I was SO WRONG! Everything was amazing from start to finish. We enjoyed the ceviche of the day (grouper) and the prix fixe lunch menu. The vaca frite was the best I've had. Service - excellent. And do not skip dessert - we shared the... More

My sister and I dined here during a weekend visit! It did not disappoint! I had eaten at the Red Mesa Cantina downtown, so decided to try this other location, which is different from the Cantina. We both ordered the "Sunset" combo offer which included a drink, chips & salsa, salad and entree. Plenty of good food with a nice... More

We enjoy the M-F 4-6pm Sunset menu that includes chips & salsa, chopped salad, choice of one entrée and beverage (red, white or margarita sangria, house wine and draft beer) . A good, tasty deal.

Six of us had dinner at Red Mesa on 4th Street last night. February 25, 2017. We had a waiter that we feel needs some people skills. He took our orders for drinks, that was fine. He took our food order, a few questions were asked and he answered them. We had our dinner, and I requested hot sauce, our... More

Great food and sangria. 100 good things to say about this restaurant. Negatives are tables are closely spaced, rooms are loud, parking is tough (use the free valet). Waiters were having a squabble the night we were there. Still never miss Red Mesa when we are in town.

Last night (Wednesday) the wife and I ate dinner at the Red Mesa. At 5:30pm, there were quite a few people there, but we were able to get seated right away. We found out that they have some early-bird specials, which come with a drink, house salad, and an entree. I had one of these, the "Vaca Frita" (literally "fried... More
