I picked this place for the atmosphere. Very authentic. Food was very, very good. I had the grouper since that is what St. Pete is known for. Delicious!!!

I love shrimp so I decided to give this place a try. The fried jumbo shrimp were awesome. No heavy breading. Coleslaw was good too. The corn pups were ok, would have been better if they had been hotter.

I had a "hankering" for some good fried clams; and seeing how I found myself in St.Petersburg (Florida) today, I decided to check-in with TA; this time from the other (consumer-in-search) end of the spectrum. And, with multiple choices, went with the 4.5 rated "Mid-Peninsula" seafood restaurant. First-off, this is not some big chain restaurant, but rather a more shanty-style... More

Our go to restaurant for lunch or dinner. Everything is fresh and cooked to perfection. Don't expect anything fancy, but great seafood.

1lb of snow crab legs with two orders of 12 medium shrimp scampi, rice and coleslaw priced at $40. Surprised by the prices for the area but the food was exceptional and definitely worth a visit again.

It is rare to find Conch on a menu. I was very happy to find Conch fritters AND cracked Conch... Prepared Bahamian style! Not in the least greasy. Now for the seafood gumbo ~ probably the best I ever had. We can't forget the key lime tarts ¦¦just the right size and price! I think they use a Pina colada... More

This area ha a ton of seafood joints to choose from. So in order to tell if it is worth your time and money see if the locals are eating there. And in this place, they sure were. You can get food to go or sit down. I have had multiple dishes here (catfish, shrimp, friend oysters, etc..) and all... More

Ok the food was great but you pay for it, I was shocked when I got the bill. However, the quality of the food softened the blow. The restaurant is not in the best area and is nothing fancy. Since the food was so good I would return. I can see why it is a local favorite.

First visit here - I had fried Shrimp and a salad (instead of two sides). The croutons were home made, and delicious. The salad was fresh, with carrots, tomatoes, cucumber, onions, and several greens. Did I mention it was huge? And delicious. The shrimp were perfectly cooked, the tartar sauce and cocktail sauce delicious. When we saw some other people... More
