With Nearly two decades of restaurant management and menu development experience, Bryce Jarvis knows what a customer expects from a resort restaurant. "I'm passionate about providing a great experience for our customer, and the Sunset Bay Cafe gives me the opportunity to share what I love best about food and Destin, Sandestin, The Beaches of South Walton, and the Emerald Coast with both visitors and locals alike." The Sunset Bay Cafe space has been a number of different restaurants over the years, but Bryce, and his co-owner Gary Jarvis, feel the location needs a locals touch to really make the most out of the views and the ingredients available to the kitchen. Surprised this was in a gated community, but easy to get into. Good selection, but a tad pricey. Weather was too cool, but can eat outside on deck by pool. View over the bay. Great service

Lunch with grilled shrimp tacos was good. Mango mimosas were great--supposed to be bottomless but never got a refill. Eggs Benedict came with potatoes but they arrived long after we were done eating. There was also a small sliver of metal on the eggs. We...More

I have eaten here twice before and found the food to be above average. This time the food was overcooked and the service was slow and inattentive. I ordered pancakes and sausage and both were overcooked. My wife had eggs and sausage. Eggs were warm...More

Began with the peach mimosa which was yummy. Then one of us had the Spicy Pig omelette and I had the Sunset Bay Omelette. Both were excellent. This place is hard to find but worth it!!!

I'm not positive, but I think they prepare take out. Since you have to call to order, you can just make that request. It has a lovely view, so it's a great place to dine on the premises.
