While staying on Sanibel with friends, they suggested the Lazy Flamingo II for dinner, which is close to the main bridge. I was surprised by the Wrigley Field décor, which was a fun twist. I tried the Grouper with a Caesar salad (see photo) and friends had the steak and lobster tail. We had a bit of a wait before... More

When we arrived there was quite a wait so even though we had 2 kids, we all sat at the bar for faster service. The food was delivered quickly and the staff was super friendly - especially the general manager. My son can't wait to go back now. Traffic on the island at dinner time is incredible - take the... Maybe this words are influenced by our condition of that day.. We were hungry, the rain was hard and we didn't find nothing open at lunch.. Suddendly appears this pink house on the principal route of Sanibel Island. We parked. We waited 15 minutes and we seated in a typical american diner/bar. Low lights, country music and nice atmosphere. I... More

Enjoyed a nice lunch of blackened shrimp and fries. Shrimp was tender and well seasoned! Perfect patio weather to make for a relaxing lunch!

This place is an icon and you should definitely stop by and try the seafood, we loved the shrimps and the fish, everything was delicious and very fresh. Perfect to visit after a sunny day at the beach.

I have family that lives in fort Myers, I am down every year and stop in at least twice during my visits, I have recommended friends that come down to try this place, this year was a total disappointment. Buffalo shrimp, grouper basket. Normally, great. The buffalo shrimp are now obnoxiously large and thickly breaded which makes a gooey mess,... More

Walked up from our hotel just under a mile away. Looked heaving and our hearts sank. Warm welcome, seated in less than 5 minutes. Debbie served us with great warmth. Kids meals come on hot pink plates that turn into Frisbees for the beach AFTER dinner. The grouper baskets were very generously sized and delicious!! Needed the walk back afterwards.

We have been here several times over the past year. The service has always been very good. My husband loves the raw oysters and I love their clam chowder. The decor is a bit rustic but it is a bar, after all. Nice little patio outside to eat on too. Not fancy but a good meal for the money. It... More

I came to Sanibel solely to stop here and buy a tshirt to satisfy my flamingo obsession. They had few shirts left and only small sizes :(. Fortunately the drinks were good, beer was cold and they had good food. Get in before noon to beat the crowd and sitting out on the deck is a great way to catch... More

Still a good spot for a burger or grouper sandwich, but the service is drooping and the oysters are getting gritty. Out group of buddies make it a first stop every year, but this time around almost every oysters had shell bits in it. Terrible compared to other restaurants on the island. I heard they open the oysters with a... More
