This is one of my favorites stops when visiting Sanibel. I have always ordered seafood dishes in the past and have never been disappointed but this time I got the Ribs my wife looked at me like strangely but was just in the mode for ribs. They were very good and was a very large portion. Very seldom am I... More

Loud, often crowded, bustling with activity. The interior is interesting. The staff courteous and helpful. Standard American fare with some special dishes.

My friend and I arrived early to watch football and get a table so we could see the game we wanted to watch. The bar did fill up, so I'm glad we did get there when we did. It is a good place to watch football, many games on but no audio, so you're not distracted by watching one game... More

I stop here everytime I visit Sanibel. It is the best place for fresh seafood! The atmosphere is great, family friendly too. They make the best mixed drinks. Fun place to hang out, share a laugh & have a great dinner. Grab a mystery novel too...Randy White the owner also writes mystery novels.....bought another book...great read!

This was our 1st visit to Doc Ford's. The waitress was friendly and attentive. I ordered the Salmon and the hubby had fried shrimp. Both were delicious! We plan to eat there again on our next stay on the island.

I'm a big fan of the Yucatan shrimp (spicy) and the best carrot cake south of Tennessee! My wife can take it or leave it...but is nice and we go when on our annual Sanibel adventure . Very popular with a nice patio.

We never got to eat here, our fault. One day we had stopped after eating somewhere else, and then another day we went to the Timbers because of a referral. That was a mistake. Jim and Gabby were great servers to us at the bar, very friendly and on the ball. It is a busy restaurant and the atmosphere is... More

Sports bar atmosphere. Wings were good. The penne and shrimp was disappointing to me. It didn't have much flavor and lacked seasoning. Fun place to watch a game or two. Wait staff and bartenders were great.

This is a typical sports bar with great atmosphere. Casual. Tyler took care of us, and he was really nice. He anticipated our every need. I love it when water is served. We had burgers and a fish sandwich. They have a large menu. Something for everyone. TVs everywhere. Beer was $6.00. That seems to be average price here on... More

Last minute change of dinner plans and we're so glad we did! We wanted something close by and Doc Fords hadn't gotten busy just yet. Mom has been yearning for Conch chowder. She wasn't disappointed. My other half and I decided to split the lettuce wedge. Homemade blue cheese dressing. We had to ask for some more. Not a problem.... More
