Stopped by for lunch but the coconut French toast caught my eye! Glad I ordered this because it was excellent. The best French toast I've had. It was our first meal on Sanibel Island and one of the best!

Greek omelet was fantastic. Hash browns were perfect. The tomatoes with Parmesan looked great, maybe next time. I would highly recommend this place to anyone.

Although the food was average (meaning that there was nothing wrong with it, but also nothing particularly memorable about it), we found this place to have much shorter wait times than other venues on the island. If you're looking to avoid 30-45 minute waits for lunch, I'd say give Sanibel Cafe a try.

I had the eggs benedict, they were a little on the salty side. Wish they had real maple syrup instead of corn syrup for the waffles. Service was very good.

Breakfast was delicious. Hubby had a fish Reuben, claimed it was outstanding. (Still talking about how good it was.) I had the huevos rancheros, very good, not a heavy ranchero sauce, with guacamole, and black beans with onions. Attentive, prompt service, and friendly staff. Highly recommend over many other "breakfast" spots on the island.

We ate here this am & it's our new island favorite for breakfast. The omelets were light & fluffy, overly packed. The hash browns were nice & crispy. The service very good. While we were there, the local firemen & police were having their breakfast, so it's a local hangout too.

My husband and I had breakfast one day during our stay at Sanibel Island. The portions are huge and served fast and hot. The staff are efficient and pleasant. Everything was cooked to our satisfaction and was tasty. The look of the place is deceiving as everyone else has mentionned. Good value and worth visiting.

We stayed at the island for a few days and discovered this great place in a strip mall. We enjoyed breakfast and lunch the following day, were pleasantly surprised by the quality of food and the service also. We'll be back when we're visiting the island
