Recommended by a friend as serving 'The best Steak & Ale Pie', he was not wrong. In this lovely village on a week day it was very busy and the experience starting with the warm welcome from the staff was as good as it gets....More

Come here often and am never disappointed! The food is delicious (Sunday roasts are amazing) generous portions and so reasonably priced. The staff are very friendly and helpful excellent service

Went for Sunday Lunch and all was good. Service was a little slow and they were not very busy but a this is a small niggle. Plenty of parking just outside pub. Worth a visit.

Very old pub with large garden and outdoor seating. Friendly and helpful staff. Traditional pub food, specialises in fish. Good portion sizes

There is a separate children's menu with choices such as cod, chicken nuggets, ham, egg and chips, etc. There is also a garden with a children's play area.

Yes I would for Sunday lunch and ask for seating in the front Bar, it's much nicer.
