Love this quaint little place with excellent sea food. We had a table for two up front for good people watching. Our waitress Abby was wonderful. Service was excellent. I must speak to the excellent quality of the food. The New England Clam Chowdah was just like home (yes I'm from MA), thick, creamy but not so much as to... More

We love to visit this lovely restaurant when we come on holiday from U.K. Such a lovely mainly fish, but can get chicken plus hand-burger. The staff r so friendly and helpful, also for myself I had a cuppa chino, so nice. It's a must to Siesta. So clean as well, lovely open windows at the front. Very pleasant.

I first wrote a review on November 10, 2014 my opinion has changed. It is better this time. Great food and the wine is one of the best we have had on this trip to sarasota. James made our experience worthwhile, his guidance, help and attitude were excellent, we will return lets hope James is at work

I don't know why it took so long for me to try out this restaurant right in the heart of Siesta Key village since I lived in New England and am a huge seafood fan. I went because I was in the village and had a craving for some clams. Sadly they were out at the moment so I had... More

Yes, they have lobster here. They also have other assorted seafood but lobster is a must do! We enjoyed steamed clams too (the waitress even asked if we knew what we were ordering to be sure we would want them) and they were totally worth it! Obviously, market price lobsters are not cheap but this place was reasonable and the... More

I had the grilled shrimp, it was advertised as jumbo shrimp. The size of the shrimp was not jumbo. My husband had a seafood platter which he enjoyed. Very casual setting. My husband's lobster bisque did not have one piece of lobster in it

Since this place is a walk from our place, we have tried it on several occasions. Recently tried lobster and fish. Both poorly prepared for a seafood place. The venue feels crowded and tired. Lots of alternatives nearby

Get there early because it is limited seating. There are lots of fresh catch to choose from, as well as lobster crab and oyster offerings. Plus it's a great location right in siesta key village. Service was friendly, as well.

We have eaten here before but this time was a disappointment. 25 dollars for a plate of deep fried seafood was expensive and really the quality of the clam strips, prawns and scallops was not worth the money. I don't like to be totally negative and the side dishes of beans, fries, coleslaw were very good. I think there is... More

After waiting a long time for a menu at The Hub, we left and went across the street to The Lobster Pot for lunch. We both had lobster roll, which had a lot of lobster and was reasonably priced, or typical of Siesta Key. Also the lobster bisque was excellent. It is a small place, very quiet when we were... More

Description
Located on Siesta Key in beautiful Sarasota, we bring you the finest tastes of New England. Enjoy a delightful dining experience in our main dining room or our patio. As winners of "Taste of Sarasota," we still carry on the New England tradition of excellence. While here we hope you'll enjoy your "Old Cape Cod" and Florida dining experience! We purchase fresh seafood daily from only the finest fisherman in our native areas and also Florida. All of our live lobsters are from Bar Harbor and Boothbay Maine. While specializing in New England seafood and of course lobster, we also offer local seafood, steaks, chops, chicken, pasta and salads. Several of our recipes have been passed down from the owner’s family including our award winning signature baked stuffed lobster duchess, which is oven-baked Maine lobster stuffed with chunky seafood. Also using family recipes are our terrific homemade soups, including lobster bisque, New England clam chowder and the wonderful Portuguese kale soup.
