We stayed three days on the KOA camping and don't want to cook. Went to Cedar and eat two times perfect fisch. Staff was very kindly. Compliments for Paula. We can recommended this place.

Now I am used to really good, fresh seafood and I don't expect that from Starke (too inland). The service we received was prompt and good. The dining room was decent, it fit the atmosphere of the restaurant. The food was alright, and the prices were what I would expect for the quality of food. The portions were decent. It... More
Not sure if it was an everyday offering but when I went there it was all you could eat shrimp... and it was spectacular!
I am a creature of habit. Every time I go for lunch at our Cedar River Seafood, in Leesburg, it is the fried shrimp basket with fries for $7.50. It comes with 12 perfectly breaded and fried medium shrimp and a decent amount of well cooked fries or your choice of several other sides. My wife opts for the broiled... More
We stopped for supper & ordered several fried items: shrimp, flounder, scallops along with baked potatoes, fried squash, beans & French fries. All were delicious. The portions were large, so we took a lot home. The next day we ordered a few take out items to go with our leftovers and ate a full meal again. Great food!
The family and I ate dinner at Cedar River Seafood on friday night, the day before going to Gainesville for the University of Florida Football game. Hubby and I split a platter... fried scallops, fried shrimp, deviled crab, fried flounder, hush puppies, fried okra, cole slaw, baked potato and salad, it was all great. Son ate cheese grits and corn... More
Was looking forward to some seafood but didn't find anything special here. I had blackened salmon fillet and was so thin cut and dry, it was crunchy. The scallops were rubbery and tough, but the flounder was lightly breaded and tasty. Service was friendly but not overly attentive. Value vs quality was ok, but wont bother giving another visit
We knew nothing about it. The GPS said it was on our way, so we stopped. It was worth it. My wife raved about the red snapper for several days after we left. My flounder filet was top notch as well. The waitress was very attentive to our needs. Will go again if we pass this way.
What a diamond in the rough ! Flip flops and shorts are ok attire. The variety of seafood is great. Broiled, blackend, fried Staff friendly, and when you enter the hostess says, sit where you feel comfortable...I liked that ! Lima beans are awesome, mashed sweet potato very tasty..salad or coleslaw good variety. Deviled crab, very good, not filled with... More
Went out for a random last minute dinner. The food took FOREVER! Service is mediocre at best. Boyfriend got a seafood combo & sent it back twice! AND what kind of SEAFOOD restaurant doesn't serve REAL BUTTER for the Lobster & crab legs??? Then the waitress eanted to argue about it! He never got to eat anything but his sides...... More
