Excellent service, large servings of moist, tender meats. We had Grammys special and it was enough for us to share with leftovers for dinner. Tried the moink’s (mixture of pepper jack cheese, beef and sausage wrapped in bacon) as an appetizer and loved them. Finished...up with fabulous peach cobbler and ice cream. Yum!More

Crystal's warm exuberance was most appropriate for the excellent food Artman's serves. Although the prices have increased, the value is without question. Fried green tomatoes with a snappy bleu cheese dip was a great start. Next the immense, moist, delicious pulled pork sandwich with sweet...smoky baked beans that were almost dessert. The small portion of chicken was flavorful and moist. Star of the show were the collard greens. Everything was exceptional. Everything except the filthy ceiling grates (see photo).More

First time eating here. Loved it and will definitely go back. "Moinks" were good - meatballs with hot pepper cheese, bacon and BBQ sauce. Brisket was absolutely fantastic. Piled high, tender, tasty. Everything was good but brisket is what you want to order here!

Great food! Gearing up now that COVID has died down. Love the pulled pork, brisket, and sides. Not wild about the Miami’s as mine were rather dry. But the pork and brisket melted in your mouth. Great cornbread, broccoli or corn casserole, and Mac and...cheese. We even had food to bring home! A winner!More

Upon looking for new places to try, and explore ( in different nearby towns) this place came up on TA. A Family member and I went there for supper last week. It's a small inviting place with 12 tables inside. Our waitress came right up...and took our order after picking a seat. We ordered the "2 meat combo brisket/2ribs" with collards, mac and cheese, and it comes with texas toast. The Brisket is some of the most tender and flavorful I've eaten. It doesn't even need sauce. The ribs were a bit dry, but tasty. The sides were just along for the ride. I will definitely be back for more of their Brisket! We had the Cherry Cobbler warned up, with vanilla ice cream. It was a little to sweet for my liking. Definitely give this place a try! It really starts to fill up around supper time, and with 12 tables I'd get there before then.More

An extended hiatus fostered some trepidation. Artman's had been so enjoyable, what if it had changed? Upon opening the door, the welcoming friendly greeting of Savannah rang through the room's din. Food was ordered and delivered quickly. Remains delicious, pulled pork sandwiches, Cole slaw, and...crispy delightfully seasoned fries. The buns have changed to cibatta. Their bland blonde appearance foretold their bland sad flavor. That's the one spot this gem could use polish.More

Tried the smoked turkey today. Omg it was like licking a block of salt No lettuce or tomato or anything on the bun. Would never order it again.. Had a side of green beans, please tell me they were not out of a can from...Sysco. Great servers but questionable on the food. Collards look and taste like spinach.More

Excellent meal. Both hubby and I had the beef brisket and mashed potatoes. Sooo good. Had an appetizer of fried pickles. Mashed potatoes were home made from scratch. I also sampled broccoli and rice. Another homemade delight. Restaurant is small. They offer outside picnic tables....Service was great eventhough it was busy in the middle of the day. Only opened Wednesday through Sunday. Worth the stop. You will return after eating here.More
