This tiny cottage is ONLY open for lunch, Tuesday-Saturday. Their limited menu includes soups, salads, quiche, sandwiches, and a few dessert options. They brew good tea and the iron tables (with umbrellas) offer a stunning view of Lake Ella while you dine. If you come on an ordinary day you will have good service and a nice basic meal. Frequently... More

Ambience was terrific, sitting outside by the lake. Food was delicious, what more can one ask for? Would highly recommend.

This is a nice place for lunch. We stopped here after walking around the lake. we sat outside and our waiter arrived quickly delivering food to another table he said hello right away and came back quick he cleared the table gave us menus and took our drink orders at the same time. Have need here often and am always happy with the food and service. Good variety of foods always fresh innovative quiche and soups. Shady outdoor dining that is kid and dog friendly. Wonderful way to experience Tallahassee.

Mickey's is a nice little cafe to enjoy a light meal al fresco. They have good quiche and tasty sandwiches. The only drawback is that the service is usually pretty slow, so don't be in a hurry.

Great food, a little pricey, but worth it! The quiche is excellent. Gets busy so be patient with the service, but well worth it!

I had a weird experience here yesterday. We were told inside is full, we can find table outside. We do, it isn't cleared yet, no big deal. While waiting (and waiting), at one point a server helps guide a parked car near our table, and then says to me and my family, "You can't help them?" Those were his first... More

Lived in Tallahassee for 20 years but this was first visit to Mickey's Lakeside. Oh, what I've been missing! The Artichoke Quiche was delicious with delicate crust and exquisite cheese. The salad dark green with tomatoes and then sliced cucumber and a yummy house salad of sweet balsamic. I thought it couldn't get better than that but the Key Lime... More

This restaurant is in a stone cottage which to be summer vacation rentals back in the ?1960's. Confederate jasmine climbs the lakeside porch post. You can park off of Monroe St in Lake Ella Park spaces or along Legion St off Lake Ella Drive near the American Legion. They usually have spinach or goat cheese & artichoke [both delicious] &... Stopped here while driving further south. Nice little place by the lake side. Wish we had more time to enjoy the ducks and geese + the view. Food was good. A must stop for a bite if you are meandering through this part of the town.
