Not a great experience. Honestly, TripAd kind of let us down in Tallahassee except for one place that was our favorite. I'm still a big fan and user. Sometimes you get the wrong thing or they just have a bad day but that usually doesn't happen at 2 top 10 places in the span of 2 days. At Cabo's, we... More

Sometimes i just want to get away, have a great meal, some nice company from a bar tender or even do some work in the corner. Cabos is my hideaway. I am treated like family and from years of visits, many others feel the same way. Great burgers, tacos, and much much more. And this is not a solicited ad!!... More

Enjoy shrimp wrapped in soft taco shells with a tangy lime sauce...sides of black beans and yellow rice! Awesome. My friend topped dinner off with key lime pie and said it was the best. Great atmosphere, friendly service and reasonably priced.

We're puzzled by our experiences at Cabo's deciding that consistency is lacking. We have noticed the service and food are decidedly better when the restaurant is busy. We went on a slow Sunday evening - service was so-so and the food lukewarm. For the many Mexican food items on the menu, the fajitas were unappealing. And nothing is worse than... More

We were visiting the area and stopped in for brunch. With our server's input I picked Mike's Costa Rican rice and beans, with eggs. It was very, very good: eggs done just right, nice amount of spice in the beans and salsa. My spouse was less thrilled with his Benedict but liked his grits. We'll be back.

Cabos is a popular Tallahassee Mexican restaurant nestled into the back of a shopping center. Surfboard motif on the ceiling is fun. However, it was very noisy at lunchtime when our group was there. Not a place for a cozy visit. Food was typical tex-mex. Wait staff seemed very stretched to serve all the customers.

This is not one of Tallahassee good restaurants. Food was tasteless, and of poor quality. Seemed and smelled dirty. Selections were boring. Don't waste your time and money.

After moving to Tallahassee a friend recommended Cobo's for lunch. I was so impressed by my first visit that it has become my go to restaurant for lunch. The quality of food is excellent and the service is great. There Mexican food platters are big enough for two hardy appetites to share. If I am in the mood for a... More

Fair food and service. There is no place to visit because the sound is deafening. There is a new outdoor patio but is next to a noisy road so that doesn't help much.

I have been a fan of Cabo's for years and it is my go-to lunch spot. They have great lunch specials during the week and fabulous salsa. Only negative is that it is very loud during busy times.

First off, thanks so much for taking the time to give us a shout out. It means so much. You are spot on about the sound. The Noise level is absolutely a problem when it's busy. In an attempt to try and baffle it we are building two insulated partitions , one each side of the room. They should be... More

CLOSED MONDAYS... SUNDAYS WE SERVE BRUNCH FROM 9 AM. TO 2 PM DINNER AT 4 PM 9:30PM . Check out our newly added Patio!! We have been here for 29 years. If you are expecting a flashy new restaurant with all new furniture and bathrooms the size of living rooms we may not be your spot. But if good, fresh, reasonably priced food is what you are after we may just be it!. The center has been here a lot longer, being built about 1960. We are locally owned and one of the few, if not the only restaurant, in town & maybe anywhere, that provides health care for our employees. We have a diversified menu, offering vegetarian dishes, Our own idea of Mexican Food (No Lard in our beans) when possible, locally caught fish and shrimp, sandwiches, salads & upscale dinner specials at down home prices. We run our 200+ seat operation with one household double door freezer. We have the best margaritas (try our Shipwreck...) hand cut fries (voted #1 by the viewers of WCTV) and some say the best Burger for the buck in Tallahassee. We would like to mention that we have gluten free tortillas, and if wine is your thing, Bring in what you really would like to have and for nominal $6 bucks we will cork it. Please be aware that we get busy and when we do, it can get loud. If for any reason you aren't happy with either the service or the food please tell us. We are human, we make mistakes, and occasionally it happens. Thanks for taking the time to read this & thanks for supporting locally owned establishments. Mike Ferrara & Bobby Staerker.
