My favorite is the Mexican fare but they have really good food overall. They cook their own black beans and make their own salsa. With .99 cent taco Saturdays and kids eat free Saturdays, there is a price for everyone. This has been a local...More

I had heard good things about Cabo's over the years and finally went. I like the broad offerings on the menu, but was disappointed with both entrees that we ordered (although my wife liked hers). We may return, but I will definitely order something from...More

I've been to Cabo's several times now for lunch with coworkers and each time it's been very loud and the service has been very average. It is reasonably priced and you get a decent amount of food but I have yet to find anything exceptional...More

I've been an occasional customer here for the 30 years of its existence -- from little taco stand to its present incarnation. It has for many years had a remarkably eclectic range of menu items and somehow managed to do a good job on all....More

I cant really put my finger on why i like this place so much. I guess its the combination of the really cool atmosphere inside, the good food, and the tradition that is Cabos. All in all, its an awesome little place id recommend to...More

For some reason, my husband and I put off our first visit to Cabo's Island Grill. Now, I'd like to kick myself for waiting so long. The food is delicious and fresh. The fish includes choices of mahi mahi and grouper: both yummy! Tacos, sandwiches,...More

Great Mexican food, plus fish and other things, inexpensive, with a great staff, including day manager Lindsey and hostess Sara -- Great Sunday brunch, too -- all the place needs is an outdoor deck

Cabo's has an extensive menu, something for everyone -- seafood, Mexican, all-American, vegetarian. I do not know how they manage to have so many options, all prepared well and delivered in a timely fashion by friendly staff. Their margaritas are the best in town, the...More

Wet Burrito was great, but rice and beans, veggie burger, and crab burger was dry. In general the food was fair, and the staff was friendly, but the place was filthy. Dirty windows, dirty floors, dirty bathrooms. Not an enjoyable experience at all

We love Cabo’s. Recently we were coming through town on a Sunday afternoon and stopped in. They serve from their brunch menu until 2 p.m. on Sundays, then re-open at 4 p.m. with their regular menu. What a treat. I loved the taquitos and would...More

Description
CLOSED MONDAYS... SUNDAYS WE SERVE BRUNCH FROM 9 AM. TO 2 PM DINNER AT 4 PM 9:30PM . Check out our newly added Patio!! We have been here for 29 years. If you are expecting a flashy new restaurant with all new furniture and bathrooms the size of living rooms we may not be your spot. But if good, fresh, reasonably priced food is what you are after we may just be it!. The center has been here a lot longer, being built about 1960. We are locally owned and one of the few, if not the only restaurant, in town & maybe anywhere, that provides health care for our employees. We have a diversified menu, offering vegetarian dishes, Our own idea of Mexican Food (No Lard in our beans) when possible, locally caught fish and shrimp, sandwiches, salads & upscale dinner specials at down home prices. We run our 200+ seat operation with one household double door freezer. We have the best margaritas (try our Shipwreck...) hand cut fries (voted #1 by the viewers of WCTV) and some say the best Burger for the buck in Tallahassee. We would like to mention that we have gluten free tortillas, and if wine is your thing, Bring in what you really would like to have and for nominal $6 bucks we will cork it. Please be aware that we get busy and when we do, it can get loud. If for any reason you aren't happy with either the service or the food please tell us. We are human, we make mistakes, and occasionally it happens. Thanks for taking the time to read this & thanks for supporting locally owned establishments. Mike Ferrara & Bobby Staerker.
