Worst service I've experienced in a long time. Appeared no one was in charge. Not friendly greeting as we arrived. Heard an employee talking trash about another customer. Wasn't greeted quickly at door. Waitress referred to the Japanese side of the restaurant in a fairly racist and insensitive way. Our waitress forgot my drink order, never brought it to me... More

My Sunset sushi had something that was suppose to be crunchy but I got rubbery instead. We were hungry after the aquarium cruise so. I won't be going back if I had a choice.

It was a bit like traveling in old communist countries. Large menu, but as you order things, they come back and say they are out of that. Instead of just telling me what they do have, they let me play this game for 5-6 times before I pick something they do have. By then I wasn't too happy and worried... More

Hubby and I stumbled into this restaurant by accident thinking it was the Thai place next door. Decided to stay anyway since we rarely get a chance to eat Japanese food. Hubby eats no sushi and I only eat one or two item so we went with the regular menu. The sushi menu was extensive and looked great. We settled... More

My family of 5 came here for lunch. It was not busy, only 2 other tables. We all ordered hibachi lunches, 3 different meats amongst the table. The beef and chicken were not good at all. The shrimp was just ok. The veggies were mushy and the fried rice was sticky and not seasoned good. They automatically added on an... More

We enjoy our sushi and make it a point to try new places whenever we travel, but always come back to Oishi as one of our favorites. We like to sit at the sushi bar and find the service to be quick and attentive. We usually go for dinner before the Lightning games and appreciate the quick in and out.... More

I have been tring to get to this restaurant for a year. Finally made it down to Channelside...the sushi was some of the best I've every eaten! My reccomedation if you want a nice quiet experience is not to eat on the hibachi side. Go on the Thai side of the restaurant. They will serve you from the Sushi side.... More

The staff was very nice especially the host and our cook at the Hibachi grill. Our Hibachi cook was very entertaining and really made our experience. We had a party of 8 with two small children and the cook kept them well entertained. The food was good but pretty average. Overall good experience and I would go back if I... More

First, let me start off by saying I am not one who likes to complain but I have never experience such horrible service as I did while eating at Oishi. I had a reservation set for 7 pm I got to Oishi at about 6:45 pm and didn't get seated until 8 pm, yes I had to wait a whole... More
