WINE OF THE MONTH
Our Wine Club Member exclusive monthly wine release can be enjoyed at home or in our restaurants.
Baden Blanc
Baden Blanc is a refreshing white blend originating from the esteemed German wine region of Baden. It entices with lively flavors of crisp Granny Smith apple, tangy lime zest, and succulent ripe pineapple, which are complemented by subtle floral undertones and hints of fresh spring herbs. Despite its dry character, the wine’s vibrant fruitiness imparts a delightful sense of juicy freshness. This versatile wine pairs excellently with Asian cuisine and summer salads.

My wife and and I went there today (Sunday) while we were in Tampa for a Junior Roller Derby Tourney. We went to Cooper's Hawk hoping for a decent sit down meal on a Sunday afternoon. Wr did not have reservations, which I would highly recommend. They were having a couple of wine tastings and we were excited to participate. The wines were great and I inquired about their corkage fee since the was a wine we wanted with dinner. We were advised to just purch as se the wine through our server in the restaurant at the same price with no corkage fee. MIKE was our server and he was awesome. He took extra measures to make sure the bootle of wine we ordered was going to be at the right temperature. He was genuinely concerned that our experience was special and IT WAS. The shrimp pastas we ordered were well prepared and tasted great with lots of shrimp. Mike took really good care of us and we had a truly wonderful experience at a price that was much less than expected! Don't visit Tampa without going there and ask for Mike. You will not regret it.

We are wine club member who live in another state but made reservations to have a New Year's Eve dinner at this location. The food was great and the atmosphere lively. We were seated under an air vent though and it was very cold throughout the whole dinner. Our server, Jason, was attentive and efficient. The Barrel Reserve is a favorite! 🍷Unfortunately, the evening ended on a sour note as we left. We were with my elderly father who walks with a cane and there were no handicapped parking spaces available when we arrived. My husband went to get the car and bring it closer so my dad didn't have to walk so far. The valet attendants were rude and impatient because we were " in the way." It was busy and they were trying to move cars but a little compassion for a senior citizen would not have impacted their routine for very long. The restaurant was busy so reservations are recommended but Cooper's Hawk is definitely one of our favorites!

This restaurant is near the airport and International Plaza and it is situated near many hotels. We arrived early Friday evening during happy hour. The tasting room was packed with young professionals enjoying their wine. As noisy as it was up front the dining room was quiet and very comfortable. Our server was friendly and knowledgeable about the wines and offered us all a taste. The menu has lots of choices so there is something for everyone. The lobster bisque is out of this world. The flatbreads are very good. The risotto was okay and the hamburger was fair. Our table also had a grouper and chicken dish. The service is leisurely. I believe we were there three hours so if you are in a rush to eat and get going this might not be the right place.

I love the food, wine and service are all top notch, but if you join the wine club they charge you $ 40 monthly. they claim you get a discount but truly you are over charged for the most part. If you get a $20 bottle of wine it is ok . But hear this if it is a $29 bottle of wine you get an up-charge for the difference, but if the bottle is $14 they do not credit you for the $6. SO you many times are paying $20 for a $14 bottle of wine when you are in the wine club you are supposed to get a discount. Pretty shady if you ask me.

I used to visit Cooper's Hawk quite often when they first opened up in the Westshore area. It was even a go-to spot of mine for my social gatherings. However, within the past few months I've noticed it's just not what it used to be. I've visited Cooper's Hawk about 6+ times in the past 3 months before deciding to write this review. First of all fair warning - parking sucks. You're better off either a.) using valet or b.) parking in the garages closer to the AC Hotel and walking over (I should mention parking is in no way part of my review stars for this establishment. It's more of an FYI for new visitors.). In my most recent visits I've ordered the: Braised Short Rib Risotto, Cooper's Hawk Chicken Giardiniera, Carne Asada Flatbread, Gnocchi with Roasted Butternut Squash, Shaved Brussel Sprouts, and the Reese's Ice Cream Cookie. There are a few common denominators among all these dishes. They all came to my table either lukewarm or cold and flavors were mediocre. Wait time is longer than expected, but I do understand that the restaurant is packed and the kitchen is probably swamped. Maybe it's time to hire more staff? Speaking of staff, I will say the waitresses I've dealt with at Cooper's Hawk have all been very friendly and accommodating. All in all, I'm not sure what the hype is all about. Maybe everyone just too wasted to notice the food with the discounted bottles of wine as wine members...

Celebrated a friend's birthday last night and wanted to treat her to Cooper's Hawk with a small group. We ordered red sangria which sells for $14.99 but as a member we receive a monthly bottle of wine per month. On the bill I was charged $19.99 for the sangria of the month then credited it back. Of course no credit for the difference in cost. I ordered shrimp and scallops risotto as I always do every time I dine there but instead of scallops serve with all shrimp. The meal was served right but this time I was up charged $5 for extra shrimp. If I had known I was going to be charged for the scallops and charged extra for the replacement shrimp I would have asked for the scallops to go and let my cats eat it. We've been members since before covid and supported this restauant during the pandemic and am disappointed the restauant does not value their members. I cancelled my membership this morning.

I love the food, the service, the wine and the dessert. My son gets the Gnocci Carbonara every time we dine her at least two times a month. I kind of switch between other dishes. But what ever I choose it is always amazing. The wine is in my New York language Fuggetaboutit. I have not met a wine at Coopers Hawk that I have not loved. The smores and creme brulee desserts are must trys! I am not big on chocolate, but the smores dessert is custard and not a chocolate bar. It is not too sweet but just perfect. The creme brulee is the best around. I am a member of the wine club and have to say it is so worth it. I get all sorts of discounts and last time I dined I received a $25 food credit to my check that was a customer rewards. The service is always top notch. So hard to find these days, but common for this amazing restaurant. I love it her and look forward to my next visit <3

We made a reservation for Coopers Hawk in Tampa, like we do everytime. When we arrived they told us that we signed up for Wine Tasting. After at least 10 previous reservations, we were confident that we had made a reservation for dinner. The host, John (or Jean) Pierre was incredibly rude. He stated that I pull up my email, which I did and he stood there and criticized how I made the reservation and that it was not for dinner. He reprimanded me in front of my husband and another couple. He told us that we can sit at the bar. He refused to accommodate a party of 4. All I have to say is WOW! I have personally brought many people to this location, large parties for lunch with my company only to be treated really poorly. This Mr. Pierre was so inconsiderate of my feelings and how I made an honest mistake. We drove from Sand Key Beach, but he did not care at all...so rude...he is in the wrong business. FIRE HIM!!

If i could give zero stars I would. Comedy of errors. Birthday celebration went wrong from making reservations to getting bill. Called to reserve 5 and then called back to add three more. Was told need two reservations. Then needed to add 3 more and was told could only have max 10 not 11. Place was half empty outside should of been no problem to add because it was lunch for goodness sakes. Ordered three plates of Trio steak. Each plate had two medium steaks and The Parmesan crusted ones were all raw. When we sent back the raw ones we were told they ran out of the Parmesan cheese! This was 1:00 in the afternoon. The restaurant had just opened at 11:00 am. Scallops were so small, drinks were weak and one person did not get their drink until the end of lunch at 3:00. One person asked for check because she had to leave early. She gave waitress cash. 30 minutes later no change or bill so she went inside and was told that she did not have change so she had to wait for bartender to take check. Others who gave credit cards needed manager to fix bill and he was busy. 20 minutes later she came out. One person asked for her bill 5 times. It never came At all!!! Not sure how they stay in business or if waitress was new, but bartender/manager and cook seemed to have a lot to be desired as well.

Seated on the patio for a nice brunch. The server was exceptional, she was timely with delivery and checking in with us. The sprouts looked amazing, thai shrimp and scallop was tasty. Love the pretzel bread! Outdoor seating was totally dry and under cover while raining, not a problem at all. Appetizers and food were all very good. Nice dining experience for sure will return.

I have been a wine club member for well over 10 years, and usually love my wine tasting/dining experience. This was my second time visiting the Wesley Chapel location, and we were very disappointed by both the wine tasting and dining experiences, which was surprising. The wine tasting experience was slow, and not much information was provided about the wines. We also had to end the tasting before finishing as our dinner reservation was already delayed (due to wine tasting) by 15 minutes. Our dinner was very slow (over 3 hours for appetizers/dinner entrees), were missing parts of the entrees, and we were never able to celebrate the two birthdays we were there to celebrate. The dining area was very loud and cramped as well. Very disappointed with the Wesley Chapel location and will book with the South Tampa location next time.

Never had a meal we didn't love here. Pricing is great, wine is terrific and the atmosphere is excellent. We are wine club members and we had lunch after picking up our wine. They let us trade wine tastings for glasses of wine at the table, so we had 4 glasses of wine at no charge (trade for tasting) which is perfect for us since we live about 2 hours away and wine tastings are a challenge. Love this place.

The soy ginger Atlantic salmon is the best salmon I have ever had!! I had the combination plate with the salmon and filet medallions with crispy onion strings. The steak was cooked to perfection! Mary’s potatoes were real mashed potatoes with the skin...Delish! The asparagus appeared as an afterthought with just a few laid across the mashed potatoes but in no way took away from the wonderfulness of the other food. The crab and lobster bisque had large chunks of both lobster and crab!! We also enjoyed a flatbread appetizer and the plain o house salad, both very good!

I made reservations a month ago and now they tell me I have to sit at 2 different tables not even near each other. I go out to be with my friends and have a relaxing fun time. Now I have to hurt people's feeling. I have been coming here for years at least once a month and this is how we are treated? This place used to be amazing, but no more :( How sad.

The food was amazing. They have a GLUTEN FREE MENU and bring gluten free bread to your table on request. My sister said it was very good, not like the cardboard of usual GF bread. This is a wine club, but you don’t have to be a member to enjoy the wines and food! The menu had a wide variety of choices. My keto-friendly choice was the Mediterranean salad with shrimp. It was very tasty and the shrimp were grilled to perfection. Plump and juicy. They have other locations, which I will be sure to visit if I am in the area.
